Yes, but couldn't someone finger the user to get information, such as
the last log on IP address? Some of us post from fairly unique IP
addresses, that would be easy to lookup. (for example, during the
school year, I post from a Syracuse University IP address, and I believe
that I'm the only user who posts from SU)

On behalf of M-Net, I apologise to keesan, I apologise
for M-Net, I even (blech) apologise for jp2.

See, I don't believe that M-Net has actually been down in years. I think the
"oh no, it's down for week again" stuff is just an excuse so M-Net types can
escape that toxic environment and vacation on Grex. :P

re: 6

On behalf of M-Net, "fuck you".

No, John, really. Fuck you.

I haven't spent enough time on Grex to really understand the intrigue a
small group of M-Netters have had with keesan. I understand now. She is the
embodiment of every stereotype we have about Grexers. And honestly, I don't
see that as such a bad thing.

There was a point in time when a few Grexers had the same fixation with me,
and thought that I was a full representation of M-Net. You'd probably have
a difficult time finding a Grexer who knows the origin of "Eat A Bag Of
Shitdicks" came from someone other than me.

With that in mind, I undoubtedly would not have wanted someone apologizing
for me, nor would I have appreciated being part of a class of people who are
unwittingly apologizing for something they have no involvement in.

Is jp2 a moron? Sure.
Is he targeting keesan unfairly? Probably.
Is that something an entire system of people are responsible for? No.

So, this is my un-apology. I don't dislike keesan, and honestly, I don't
dislike Grex. But if either require an apology for something jp2 (or anyone
else, for that matter) said, they know who's supposed to be issuing the
apology.

I'm sure most of the M-Netters who came here would be more than happy to "go
home" as quickly as you'd like them to leave.

It's almost as though M-Net is an apartment building that burns down every
year.

In all of the past years, we've had another building to go to, and the people
there were generally understanding enough to let us stay for a while, until
our building was back up.

It seems that this year, the people are tired of taking us in every summer,
and to make matters worse, we're changing the channel on your TV, and
complaining because you only have oatmeal in your kitchen.

Sure, we take in lost Grexers when there are problems here, but y'all are so
quiet, all we usually notice is a few extra people in Party, asking when Grex
is coming back online.

#13> The refreshing feeling that twinkie brings is more like the feeling after
a really good fart, with that disgusting but somehow tantalizing odor in the
air that makes you both want to puke and get something to eat.

(and, knowing him, he'll take this as the compliment it's intended to be ;}

To be honest, maybe the "M-Net vs. Grex" thing is over my head, but do
not notice happening with the frequency as it is rumored. Perhaps I'm
simply looking in the wrong place.
