Jazz is pretty cool. We've hung out in person several times. You've made
a wise choice.

Over the years I've met a great number of Grexers, so it's tough just coming
up with somebody cool I haven't met yet.

I'm not sure I've met gull yet. I've never met bdh3.

I met quite a few Grexers on our trip to A2, but I know I missed quite
a few people.

Of the remaining, I'd honestly have to say I'd like to meet Carrie
(oval) next.

Contenders, however, included the couples cb311 and winipooh, and
munkey and kornnut.

(sadly, I can think of at least two Grexers who have passed away that I
would have liked to have met. outside of them, I guess the conditions
limit my choices to, oh, just slightly over 99% of all Grexers past
and present. ;) anyway, at this moment, it's a toss-up between
krismadh and sholmes. I first met them online last summer when Yahoo!
euchre made me an insomniac, and learned much about India and its
neighbors, plus developed a greater understanding of cricket. since
both are in Asia [last I checked], a meeting likely would be prohibitively
expensive.)

(now, if you wanted to know which Grexer I'd like to meet *again*, that's
a whole 'nother cross-dressin' chicken.)

I've met pretty much everyone in the Ann Arbor and Lansing area, but I never
got to meet the Alpena crowd. Grexmom recognized my family's name (I grew
up in Alpena), and she and I have been trying to meet for a few years.

Sounds to me like mynxcat needs to arrange to come to A^2 sometime and
have dinner with folks here.

probably #1 would be richard. because I've known him online for so long, and
I'd like to know if he's as much as a twit IRL, or if (like me) he's a more
pleasant person IRL than online (or so people tell me, about me).

Hm, even coming from Europe for visits in 1998 and 1999, I think I have
met more grexers than I can recall. Many are still around, some have
vanished in the mists of cyberspace. Names that come to mind are
bhelliom, mooncat, jazz, popcorn/valerie, janc, scott, other, scg,
daddrock, tpryan, michaela (who changes her pseudo every so often),
keesan, morgaene, jiffer, remmers, Ken, orinoco, eeyore and loads of
others I have forgotten to mention. (No ill intention, guys)

I want to meet danr for cycling reasons

Coincidentally I am trying to arrange for another visit coming
September.

I seem to notice posts from grexers I've met much more than I notice posts
from people I only know online. Even if I've only seen someone's face once
or twice, I seem to end up with a much more vivid impression of their
personality when I see them again on grex. The grexers I've never met who
_do_ stand out in my mind tend to be the ones who argue a lot -- I just
identify them with their political views, rather than with their faces and
habits. So I've got pretty vivid impressions of brighn, rcurl, jazz, richard,
and russ, even though I've never met any of them. There's also people who
stand out because they tell stories, rather than just making conversation,
and I can identify them by their prose voice: bdh and jep are the first two
I think of. So I'd be curious to meet all of these people just to see if I've
formed the right mental images of them.

I agree with Mary -- it'd be real interesting to meet happyboy. (I'd also
like to meet Michael Deliza sometime. I think Mary and I just have similar
taste in people.)

I'd like to meet bdh3, cmcgee and dbunker.

I'd like to meet lots of Grexers. I *have* met lots, and they've all
been interesting and nice.

i think it depends on the activity. if it were having some drinks and shooting
some pool i'd want slynne and happyboy with me. if i were going biking maybe
sindi. if i were going to wonder the urban streets of america - beady.
remmers, jazz, mary, marcus, capn'n and the wife, brighn all seem like
intersting company too. i'm sure there are others.
