There's a good German restaurant near my office. I hadn't had German food
since Metzger's closed.

IHB Michigan pulled it out. And I even managed to find a Wolverine fan
to watch part of the game with.

The Old German, or Metzger's, I forget which, is *re-opening*
        at Zeeb and Jackson.

That's interesting. It would presumably be Metzger's; the Old German
closed because its owner (who was related to the owner of Metzger's)
was retiring due to old age.

I'm mildly happy that Ameritech finally installed our 2nd phone
line, after a month's delay. Only mildly though, because the
line is a bit noisy, and our modems won't connect at faster
that 28.8kpbs. Hmph, guess we're not through dealing with
those Ameritech folks after all...

I happy because MSU won even though they nearly fucted up bad. (Okay
they did, but we pulled it out!)
And, after staying up for 26 hours straight I have Slapshot Section
tickets for hockey this season. Oooh yeah, I get to go to *all* the
home games and lots of away ones. <dances>

IHB Dr. Mom helped me diagnose that I do *not* have a kidney infection, I hung
out with nifty people and watched midgets. Oh, and I am almost done with
Meg's dress.

My fever seems to be passing without me actually getting sick. Is that
possible? Work wasn't bad, the weekend's worth of football was notably better
than last weekend's, and I got a nice email.

Re #20: I've found the "happy" and "bummed" items to be limiting. Sometimes,
i've wanted to share something that fit in neither category. So I decided
to enter an item I _could_ use. ;)
