CAMILLE Paglia has political types in a tizzy with a
blind item in her latest salon.com column. Explaining
the infamous kiss Al Gore planted on Tipper at the
Democratic convention, Paglia writes: "Reports flared
up early in the convention about one of Gore's major
supporters, rumored to be gay or bisexual, making
anti-Clinton remarks. That man, it was alleged on good
authority five years ago by someone who knows them
both, has always been in love with Al.' My first
thought was that there would now be some ostentatious
heterosexual display by the candidate at the
convention. But I certainly didn't expect it to be on
the podium." Beltway insiders are certain they know
the intellectual heavyweight Paglia is referring to,
and they are buzzing about her temerity in prodding
him to step out of the closet. Not to say there is
anything queer about Gore. Paglia states
unequivocally: "Gore isn't gay, but his hothouse
upbringing by his dominating parents probably produced
his prissy, lisping Little Lord Fauntleroy persona,
which borders on the epicene ... It's well established
that Gore has a problem relating to average
heterosexual guys, who are leaning toward Bush."

Heck, I figure its the author of _Love Story_.
Place yer bets here.

I'm sure there's more than one power-groupie fag who's in love with
Gore and/or Bush, and 20 times as many power-groupie straight women
who'd cheerfully suck the nominated dicks if given the chance. Doesn't
mean a thing. The really good gossip I've been hearing centers around
Hillary Clinton and Tippe Gore.
Tipper is know to be a nut-case and has the odds-makers predicting how
long it'll take her to do a Mary Todd number if Al is elected. Do they
*make* enough prozac to keep her looking and acting almost normal.
Hillary is, of course, bisexual. She's had affairs with both men and
women while first lady, and is said to outdo Bill in this respect.
If there's any gossip left about Bill, it's that his reputation as a
philanderer is greatly exaggerated. Not that the will to do it isn't
there, but that he's so college-boy and amateurish about it.

(Btw, Paglia's description of Gores's "prissy, lisping Little Lord
Fauntleroy persona, which borders on the epicene" is dead-on. He will
make the best late-night comedy fodder since...um, Clinton.)

So if we chisel away at the amateur gay-dar-ism of Paglia, we can all
agree that Gore better serves the interests of women. Cool with me.

Most public figures make good late-night comedy fodder because
they're.....well, human.
Bill Maher made a comment similar to Paglia's about Gore's demeanor on
Politically Incorrect last week. His comments were much funnier.

I caught Maher's statement about how Gore was holding back an urge
to "flame" freely.
Had folks taken a good look at Bush, Sr.; they'd have made the same
conclusion.

Re: #1: Not that I'm a Hillary fan, but where are the facts of her having
any affairs, straight or homosexual, while first lady?

Hillary is a modern female. Of course she's bisexual.
Goes without saying.
Really.

No, just all "modern" women (in Paul's definition of "modern").
