Today, I have been getting the BOOT atleast twice, once during logon and once
when i tried to get into bbs. This is really annoying. (and please don't
call me a newbie, i have had many a login idz but i lost them due to some long
vacations from grex. I used to be mark1, zook107, zookpro, now i am gasman)
Please be notified. That is all

Are you sure that it is Grex doing the booting? Today I have logged in
three or four times, I may not log out, that depends. Right now I'm
behind a firewall that goes up and down more often than an elevator at a
science fiction convention.

UR funni. (Mark! Calm down *he he he* *SLAP*) ok, it might be one of
williard's crazy idle programs, (not to star ne thing) but it said connection
reset by peer, that's my opinion.

I recognize none of those logins. Please elaborate on the actual time span
you have spent on grex.
This is hardly deserving of an item, though I *have* been having connection
problems with grex this evening. M-net was working fine.

Telnet will display "connection reset by peer" if you unplug your
modem.

I've been having trouble getting to Grex today, too.. My connection would
freeze up, ping packets sent would be dropped, and five or so minutes later
Grex would be reachable again. Depending on the timeout value your TCP
implementation uses, it might just be giving up sooner than mine and
dropping your session..

Grex was so badly lagged earlier that my login timed out before I got a
password prompt. I wasn't in a mood to take a traceroute, though, so I
can't tell you what went wrong.
