So far, not all that great. I have a headache and just found out that the
mattress they were supposed to deliver yesterday won't be coming until
tomorrow.

Midday report: Things have been okay so far, but in a few minutes
I'll have to venture outside into the near-zero-degrees (Fahrenheit)
outdoors to drive on slippery streets, so the rest of the day
is questionable.

Just as I was starting to reach the conclusion (around 12:30 or so) that I
was in fact hungry and that it was time for lunch, I got caught up in an
extended session of distributed debugging with lots of external dependencies,
which basically means I'm stuck here until people call me back. So, I've not
eaten lunch yet. Grr.

I went to 2 bookstores. I went to Sam's Club. and I went to Meijer. My feet
HURT. And I almost got run over several times. I am home and I am staying
here. Feh.

I was a bit sick overnight, and got little sleep. Called in
sick (only 2nd sick day this year) and got the sleep back. Used
some of today to prepare for my internet radio Christmas show:

Ummm...so far today I've simply slept and got up for work, but work should
go well. Then I think I'm going to a friend's house to watch movies. Haven't
seen him in a month or so...ack...

The Fedex that went into the van in Ann Arbor at 11;15 yesterday still has
not arrived. Maybe it got lost under the late mattress. (It was sent from
California with no trouble, just got lost in Ann Arbor). Today I learned to
ftp!
