A friend of mine confided in me that they had been raped as a child. :/
Past history, yes, but the levels of torture humans inflict on others
never ceases to astound me...

I'm bummed because the power came on today. I'm bummed that it went out in
the first place. Then I got to spend $200 on groceries because all we had
was ruined.

And two of my fake nails broke off today, my pinkey on my right hand now
snapped off the nail and is tender and was gushing blood.

I'm bummed because I'm too chicken shit to just move or die.

Three people parked in a camper at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway died from
Carbon Monoxide poisoning when their tailpipe got clogged with mud and grass.
That's awful.

Having lost a very close friend from CO poisoning: Please get CO detectors
wherever there could be a CO potential. Any house with natural gas, propane,
or fuel oil for any appliance, shoul have at least one detector.

IBB- I really really don't want to go to work tomorrow, and I wish I
could just quit. However, I can't do that, bills and all, and I am
looking for a new job (resumes sent out and everything)... so I'm
working on getting out, but gah... I just hate where I'm working right
now.

IBB I have lost the ability to wear heeled shoes for long periods of time.
My favorite shoes have heels, and when I started my job in July, I started
wearing low/flat shoes because of the walking I'm doing. But I still like
my heels, and I wore them for 4 years or so. Now, I got a back cramp you
wouldn't believe, and when I put on my flats again for work, the back cramp
went away and I got a calf cramp instead.

That's it. I can't win!

IBB, over the weekend, my office at work was broken into and robbed. A
bizzare assortment of small but valuable things are missing, including my
computer (the desktop; my laptop was at home, and they left the nice
expensive server for some reason, even though it was on casters. Go
figure.) and (of all things) my desk chair. The most painful thing,
though, was some 30 of my favourite CD's, which were here on Friday
and are no longer. Grr.
At least they somehow managed to miss the computer with our source
code repository. That would have been rather bad.
