Yell ALLEGIANCE: Decepticon FUNCTION: Communications " " PROFILE: Wheeljack created Yell to be an extra hand to help with odd tasks around the workshop and to help Ratchet and Perceptor with their work. Later on she joined the 'con ranks. Officially, Rosestar's peer pressure led Yell to join the 'cons; others claim that Optimus Prime asked her to join in order to keep him up to date with the female 'con activities, promising Wheeljack's safety. In either case, she hated her original name Maize (named due to her muddy yellow color) and felt underappreciated. After joining the 'cons, Edge and Starscream built a third mode for her, that of a cargo ship. She rarely uses the cargo mode because she is afraid the mode will fall apart (She fears this because Edge helped build it and most of Edge's work explodes after a while). When she does use this mode, she never carries more than one passenger and she shakes from side to side while flying. Usually this passenger is a tape...the bigger the passenger the more she sways. She is an expert on Decepticon history which she used to study in her spare time on pre-war Cybertron. ABILITIES: True to her adopted name, she can emit a high pitched noise audible to any 'con or 'bot animal and can use it to send long distance messages in a kind of morse code. WEAKNESSES: She's been known to look at her Decepticon symbol as if she needs a reminder in order to act tough. Although she's constantly tried to forget about him, she's sympathetic to Wheeljack's memory. She feels stuck between whether to continue honoring her promise to Optimus Prime even with Wheeljack's demise or to go back to the Autobots who couldn't even protect her fallen creator. Since she feels that she looses either way, she remains at the present with the Decepticons.
