Perhaps you should just ask him, if you really want to know, that is.
It's rather unfair when he never comes to Agora at all. Maybe I'm just
a little touchy today.

I'd think Carson were being unfair and cruel if I didn't know Carson and Greg
enough to know this is just usual crap that Greg would probably be mildly
annoyed at, if anything.

(I tried to call phenix at home, but there was no answer. perhaps he was
in the basement, lowering Sailor Moon videos to some hapless victim in a
deep pit, but I wouldn't know. I will try to call again tonight so that I
may finally put this burning question to rest.)

(of course, this all begs another question: why does Jamie think Greg
needs a HotOrNot item? last I checked, he'd paid his debt to society,
so he should be allowed near women again, and pribly has been.)

#36 of 576 by jaklumen on Wed Aug 7 11:12:37 2002:

Actually, there are different ways of going about it-- but yes, this
isn't the likely one.

Grrr.. wish I had access to MS FrontPage here..

heh, all I can do is vote.

mynxie doesn't know how hot she is.
Anyone that remembers jbrennan, well, yeah, in a kinda waify sort of
way.
arianna-- gorgeous, and well, she gets a Sweetness X 2 factor.
so does mooncat, for that matter. Probably even a Sweetness X 3.

of course, I'm prejudiced toward morwen-- after all, I married her, and
our daughter has been deemed bona fide cute many times over by most
everyone that has seen her or her pictures =) Beautiful woman with a
big ghetto booty that makes a beautiful baby? Damn hot!

<carson:carson has a second question for phenix>

carson: (Greg, has there ever been a woman you've considered "Not"?)

(phenix once again blessed the lower lifeforms by listing his HotOrNot
favorites in party. the following is a list, with his comments about
each listed to the right.)

  http://www.hotornot.com/r/?eid=KRAYAEB&key=XEC ("littel slice of all
        right")

(it's unclear whether phenix is engaging in a bit of exhibitionism by
listing his favorites in a public forum, or if he simply wishes to educate
the ignorant masses who are unaware of what he considers "Hot." it's
worth noting that phenix has yet to describe any of the pictures as "Not,"
which supports a hypothesis that phenix has explicitly denied. also of
note is that phenix has yet to repeat himself, which continues to be a
Good Sign. it means there may yet be more photos that will inspire him to
further elucidate his ideal of "Hot.")

   http://www.hotornot.com/r/?eid=KLNMNSO&key=BVP ("this is also not")
   http://www.hotornot.com/r/?eid=KUHQSYN&key=ESD ("another not")

(although this appears to be a breakthrough, a closer look at the evidence
suggests that some of this list may be a "beard." phenix declined to
participate in other conversation; indeed, his two minutes in party were
solely to point out these "Nots." it is very possible that phenix simply
looked until he found pictures that he could say "Not" without being
called on it. we shouldn't be surprised if he clicked on the "Meet Me at
HOT or NOT" link.)

(in the interest of fairness, Greg was probably being honest about the
first one. he has expressed his disinterest in single mothers, although
he softened that stance by indicating it would be OK as long as the kids
were far, far away.)

#127 of 576 by phenix on Tue Aug 20 04:52:29 2002:

kegel is the muscle in the vigina that can help with "tightness", i belive
they're also one of the main set to spasm during orgasim

#128 of 576 by michaela on Tue Aug 20 05:11:42 2002:

Kegels are the rings of muscles that contract during orgasm and childbirth.
By doing Kegel strengthening exercises, orgasms can be more intense, and you
can make a guy happy by tightening them during sex.

Also, doctors recommend women who have given childbirth do Kegel exercises
afterward to strengthen their vagina.

Contrary to boy's locker room talk in high school, a woman can't be "loose".
Some are tighter, thanks to those muscles, but nobody is "loose". The muscles
are sort of like elastic bands.

#129 of 576 by jaklumen on Tue Aug 20 07:08:23 2002:

Silly people. Women aren't the only ones who have Kegel muscles. Men
have them too. Strengthening Kegel muscles in men help control
intensity of an erection, and therefore, in like fashion, can also
intensify orgasm (and ejaculation).

Mr. Norris, my teacher at IAA, used to tell me when we reviewed recordings
of my performances, "You know, this recording.. there's something missing from
it. It's like your voice has a resonance that recording equiptment can't
capture." Most of the people who have commented on my appearance have met
me and know that a pic lacks my motion, my animation, and therefore can't
convay *me* as accurately.

I like that people know me and find me attractive based on my personality as
much as (if not more than) my looks.

And based on that sort of assessment, Sarah is beautiful! And Carson's
definately shaggable. (; And Eric -- ye gods, his eyes make my heart stop.

#229 of 576 by jaklumen on Tue Aug 27 10:49:09 2002:

resp:204 oh geez.. well, www.cyberspace.org/~arianna has more recent
pictures. These ones are a bit more charming and personable and seem
to say more for character and demeanor.

resp:205 You are entitled to your opinion; and it doesn't necessarily
create a consensus.

Again, other's right. She's a sweetheart, which I think matters most.

#230 of 576 by twinkie on Tue Aug 27 12:08:52 2002:

I think people are being overly defensive.

By definition (yes, "hottie" is in Webster's Dictionary), a "hottie" is
someone who is physically attractive. By generally-accepted definition, a
"hottie" is physically more attractive than the average person of similar age.

It is a consensus that people such as Britney Spears, Richard Gere, Rachael
Leigh Cook, Ricky Martin, Rene Russo, and Freddie Prinze Jr. are hotties.

While you and I may have differing opinions about people on that list, most
people believe them to be more attractive than normal. It is not entirely
unreasonable to use those people as a "hottie litmus".

#231 of 576 by bhelliom on Tue Aug 27 14:11:49 2002:

It is still a relative term. There are some out there (obviously) that
don't find that people in your list at all attractive.

re: 231

Yes...I suppose it is a relative term.

If I were to douse you in water that was 100 degrees centigrade, I would think
it's pretty darn "hot"...but I suppose you would consider it "mildly warm"
and state that molten lava and the surface of the Sun are both much hotter.

some people feel the need to be argumentative. <shrug> either way, the
Hot-or-Not items seems like it should be the place where we post our choices
for who is "hot" (by whatever definition). who wants to bother disgreeing
when it's all, as was said earlier, relative?

maybe we should go on a grexpedition to find all the hot grexers, carson --
how's that for a roadtrip idea (slightly belated)? (;

re 366: Well duh. But just grexers. (waits for phenix to deflate after
finding he doesn't get to meet any of the hot-or-not chicks.)
also, if you wanted a mail order bride from romania you'd pribly hafta be
a pedophile--in my (vast, unlimited, hitting-on-romanian-women) experience,
they're pretty much all engaged by the age of 12.

#369 of 576 by phenix on Wed Sep 18 22:53:05 2002:

a) grexers tend to be chotter than hoes from HoN
b) like i have vast experience shopping for brides
c) 12 is usually post pubescent and thus it's not pedophelia so thppt
it is too young to get married though

#370 of 576 by lynne on Thu Sep 19 00:34:02 2002:

hairstyle (trendy, of course) and roughly similar comments. On the other hand
it means Jamie knows what he's looking for in a woman, at least visually.

The men seem to come across better than the women, for the most part --
lots of truly bad pictures of women, but plenty of okay guys, and I don't
even like guys that much. I think the whole slob thing comes out working
pretty well for the guys -- the women all try to pose and tart themselves

(I don't know who gets more blame: Jamie for starting the item, Greg
for taking the bait, or me for fueling it.)

(anyway, there's a "lost" edition of the Phenix watch to be completed.
I'll pribly get around to it somewhere around response #700.)

(as for me... the following is excerpted from running commentary over
the past 48 hours. all pictures are from Michigan Meet Me At...
HotOrNot users, aged 18-32. my comments are CD, with my friend Justin
denoted by CN.)

CD: Ukranian!
CN: yeah I just saw that one

CD: ugh! how the hell can someone put "catholic" AND "bisexual" in
their profile as keywords?! what am I missing here?! (besides a
    guilty dyke-out session)
CD: if it were an altar boy, I'd understand.
CN: I was an altar boy.. jackass

http://www.hotornot.com/r/?emid=BESYOQ
CD: not my type, but NICE picture.
CN: I dont' think you'll see any I haven't.. btw: that girl is a bitch

http://www.hotornot.com/r/?emid=EMSSAL
CD: hmm. is that keyword "pom" or "porn"?
CN: it's porn
CD: dude! and I clicked "no"!

http://www.hotornot.com/r/?emid=EYHRKQ
CD: is she REALLY between 18 and 25?

http://www.hotornot.com/r/?emid=EQAMAL
CD: nice rack!

http://www.hotornot.com/r/?emid=AMBUGR
CD: legal Yooper!

CD: I love how all the hot ones are "I've got blonde hair and green
eyes", whereas all the fat ones are like, "I have a really good
personality! you don't know what you're missing!"
CN: I do love that.

http://www.hotornot.com/r/?emid=EYOLHU
CN: if he can get her why can't I?

http://www.hotornot.com/r/?emid=EYBZHR
CN: I don't know her?
CD: yeah, not bad. I'm sure I clicked on her at least once.

http://www.hotornot.com/r/?emid=EQKLS8

http://www.hotornot.com/r/?emid=ESOERU
CN: that's someone I don't want to see again
CD: really? I think I clicked "yes" on her at least once, with the
hope that she's lost the braces. she *does* show up a lot, though.

http://www.hotornot.com/r/?emid=ESSMAS
CN: guess where they are? yummy
CD: yeah, I saw that one. "army" and "peircings" meant "no" from me.

http://www.hotornot.com/r/?emid=EQHYBY
CN: now this girl would be nice to turn into a fuck toy

http://www.hotornot.com/r/?emid=EQNLNE
CN: wtf is that?
CD: I hope it's pina colada, because if it's bukkake, I'd pop a blood
    vessel trying to fill it.

http://www.hotornot.com/r/?emid=ELGRNE
CN: hey... put some water on her.. we got to get her back in the water!
CD: that's just RUDE. true, but rude.

CN: I know this.. hey.. my cuz is on here.. hmmm
CD: at least you would recognize your cousin. me, I'm treading in
    dangerous waters.

http://www.hotornot.com/r/?emid=ELBYKL
CN: girl?
CD: eh... if she lets the hair down, yeah.

http://www.hotornot.com/r/?emid=ELESKZ
CN: 14, where
CD: ooh! does she want one more? I'd pierce her lungs.

http://www.hotornot.com/r/?emid=ELAYHQ
CN: wait... how come I haven't seen this one?
CD: I can't remember if I clicked "yes" or not to that one. "Broaday"
    is a turn-off... I'm picky about spelling.
CN: spelling.. like I care, I'll never notice ;)

http://www.hotornot.com/r/?emid=ELRSGQ
