Item 293: When colors bleed to black and white.

Entered by jaklumen on Sun Feb 3 10:28:43 2002:

Hiding
in a dark place
is me.
Singing and humming
In my own private obscurity.
I stride quitely
in cold black curtains
dotted with sparkling effervescence
and a pearl white light
among crystal coated landscapes.
I glide through ghostly cathedrals
of slumbering civilization,
trying to clarify the muddy cerebral streams
touched by blinding beams
that wash out rainbows I was dreaming about.
I struggle in confusion,
trying to reconcile memories of bliss
that floated in the majesty
of those same heavenly beams.
Someone, something shattered that reverie.
Too many wails of cacophony
that drowned out, stifled
the music of whispering and subtle harmony.
Thus I have retreated in that velvet and silk
when those voices of discord are hushed and still.

Someone else should comment on this one. I've already seen it. Jon
wrote this one in church.
