Moon Paean  ~  For Midsummer: June 21, 2001


I live in the shadows and lights of her exposers

        flashing

then disappearing

my image
        against Her against
the fog billows
as the ocean exhales

Her nimbus
        and cumulus white
with every color combined

transforms into black
as all is absorbed

then refracts

to become
We Within Her

waiting for birth
