I've seen that on my own sessions now and again. No idea what causes it.
Uh huh. That's just what any staff member in on the harrassment would say.
Actually, this error hits me quite frequently when I hit a poorly timed control character, typically ^C. I think crappy interrupt handling in grex's ancient version of sshd is a more likely culprit.

Re. 3 & 4: Don't you guys see? That just proves staff's doing it to more than one person.
It's happened to me. As such, I wanted to read the /var/log/messages file to investigate, but I was denied that request.
Yeah. If they were serious about figuring out who's causing these problems, they'd open up that file.
Gosh guys, why *would* staff harrass you, anyways?
I get it from time to time when I'm in pine. I can't think of a convincing reason staff would want to harass me. Anyone else want to try? ;>
Re. 8: Because Grex's staffed by antisocial goons. Re. 9: That doesn't mean they aren't doing it.

You're the one who doesn't think there's a difference between someone leaving Grex and committing suicide.
Ryan, Scott, don't feed the sociopath^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Htroll.
hehe, /var/log/messages on Grex doesn't contain that information. You should start actually reading my replies. :)
Yes, you are an idiot and a vandal.
I know when I implemented an idle killer on my nether.net systems, as well as a dup login killer and "background process killer", i used kill -9 to blast them.
Interesting thought, Jared. I've seen us at max remote users lately.
re 14 Yes, no action was taken on the sudo log either. Same deal, though.
naftee, if you don't trust the administrators of a system, you shouldn't use that system. I remembered later that when I have been kicked off by idled, there is nothing about "kill -9". I simply see something about "session ended."
You have to look at the messages file to see which signal was given.
Polytarp, please seek psychotherapy *immediately*. It appears you are a paranoid loser. If you don't wish to seek psychotherapy, please shut up and shove your thumbs up your piehole.
