I'd like to propose a new conference on grex: agorage, as a cross between
garage and agora.  See my corresponding post in agora for more information.

I posted more about it in the agora item.  The basic idea is to try and
``bridge'' the gap between the most active users on grex and those in a
position to try and help out maintaining it....

Could you explain how you see that working?  Just because you build it
doesn't mean they will come, as numerous dead conferences attest.

(No responses here for a couple of weeks.  I don't know if Dan still
wants the conference, but I'll point out that Grex policy is that a
conference will be created, after allowing for a few days of discussion
in Coop, if the proposer wants it done.  It's certainly been more than a
few days.  The official conference proposal item (item #7) gives further
insight into how conference creation works.)
