We're at 19 Westbury Ct. Go north on Nixon at Plymouth Rd. Turn right onto Westbury. Park. We're in the first building on the left. For those who like road rally type precision, Westbury is .75 miles from the Plymouth and Nixon road intersection. I'll have my cell phone on - 734-717-7738. We're ordering pizza to have before the meeting. If you'd like to get in on that let me know. And ever since we've moved meeting to homes, instead of Zing's, we've not seen as many non-board member types attending. I'd like to think it was the food that people miss and not that they feel intimidated with the private spaces. Please, feel welcome, and consider joining us.
We stopped attending because the homes chosen are too far away and not easily bikeable (particularly after dark). We made one meeting at aruba's house. But we probably would not attend any meetings this summer because we are busy building while it is light in the evening. Mary and John have a beautiful house and some nice cats (a bit shy).
re 0 Vegetarian Pizza?
I bet the Remmers could increase attendance at their house if they served some vintage chardonnay from their wine cellar :) ..
Does anybody do chardonnay anymore? I mean, really? ;-)
Shiraz goes better with pizza anyways ;)
I'd like to buy into the pizza-and-chardonnay party. :)
Gotcha. Whatdoyoulikeonyourpizza?
What goes with chardonnay?
It's an Irish cannibal delicacy: Charred O'Nay. ;-)
Somewhere, out there, Michael Delizia is shaking his head in horror as we continue to refer to this wine as chardonnay instead of Chardonnay. You can dress 'em up but... ;-) But to answer the question - Pop Tarts are always good.
Somehow, Grex seems more like a subs & suds crowd to me. Serving chardonnay with pizza is likely to get the French Wine Police after you. Allow me to suggest a fine Italian sangiovese instead.
That's usually what I have with dinner
Re #11: Well, I don't think they make pop-tart flavored pizza. So anything's fine with me.
Re: #6 Shiraz would go well with a spicy pizza. Re: #11/14 Eiswein might be the "normal" companion for fruit pastry, but my reaction to "Pop Tart" is "Red Zin or Hot Gin".
You are right. And guess what I have at home? The makings for a spicy pizza *and* a bottle of shiraz. Hurm...should I have pizza three days in a row? (I made a really nice spinach and goat cheese pizza on whole wheat crust last night).
It turns out that I have a direct conflict tonight. However, it may be brief, and I will head over to the board meetings as soon as I'm done.
Too late - meeting's over. (Shiraz was served.)
What, no minutes?
Hic.
Re #19- give a girl a break, these things take time. ;) Besides, I wasn't one of the two people at the time with a laptop computer.
