Grex Oldcoop Conference

Item 180: It's Time to Hold the Board Accountable

Entered by jp2 on Fri May 28 00:56:42 2004:

Given the nature of this discussion, this is not a member proposal. This is
only a discussion of the proposed action.

The actions committed by valerie were adverse and directly harmed the
corporation. This was, in fact, a criminal act and the Board of Directors
failed to properly address this matter. Therefore, I propose suing the
directors for breach of fiduciary duty.

This action does not require a majority of members, however, everyone involved
must have been a member through this.

Discuss.

Guys, I'm a little disappointed here.

Every time I watch Judge Judy, I get this impression that Americans love to
SUE PEOPLE and get ANGRY and such. Why isn't anything like this happening
here?! I mean, c'mon.

Don't be silly. Judge Judy's out in CA.

You're saying Californians, led my the infamous Ahnold Schvartzenegger, are
more tough than the Michiganers, led by a woman?

#8 of 10 by gregb on Fri Jun 11 18:53:47 2004:

Actually, it was a joke based on the fact that Judy's waaaaay out in
La-La Land so it would be impractical to use her.

Get it?
