This is NOT a member proposal to be voted on, merely a suggestion. Lately, there have been a lot of "Member Proposals" and "Proposed Bylaw Changes". I'd like to request that when posting such an item, you give it a title such as "Member Proposal: Goal of the proposal" For example: Member Proposal: Change the Root Password or Bylaw Ammendment: Voting Procedure Changes or Member Proposal: Colocation This would make it much easier to read through coop, and would probably save everyone a bit of time.18 responses total.
Nice idea!
I agree - that's a good idea. And it's possible to change item titles with Backtalk.
So the fairwitness could do it.
I agree, it would be nice. But I really don't want to see the FWs getting into changing user's text, so I'd like to see the header of an item left to the poster, who may or may not want to follow this suggestion.
Don't some Backtalk interfaces allow the user to change item titles for their own viewing?

If it's a stupid insistence that Grex censors its users use: "Entered by Todd,Seattle,866-867-5245,866-867-5245 (tod)"

If the item author won't retitle it to what everyone wants, the FW will just remove it.

Why use symbols that people will forget the meaning of, instead of the words themselves?

Re. 11: words are symbols, girly.
Or a separate conference for member proposals itself.
If you use "#" people will argue over its name.
