How smokey is it?
You mean, as in cigarette smoke?? There is no smoking.
Just that green wood produces a lot of smoke from the fire. For clean burning, you need aged wood. <chuckle>
Yeah, but the Drywood Coffeehouse sounds less appealing.
I never quite know if a "coffee house" is smoking or non-smoking. I had the misfortune to use the restroom in an a^2 bar recently.
I don't remember ever seeing a church that people were smoking in, even in parts of Europe where people were smoking everywhere else.
Re #4: Yeah, the Drywood Coffeehouse sounds like "Fire Trap" to me.
So we can hope that the Drywood Coffeehouse would be non-smoking? ;)
We'd better hope it would have a humidifier too. :)
Tomorrow night is Jay Stielstra's appearance. This beloved Michigan singer/songwriter/playwright will serve up old-timey and topical songs, as well as perform vignettes from his play "Old Man In Love." Sat at 5 pm Barbara Kessler will provide the "special music" (2 songs) at the Green Wood worship service (Green Wood is part of First United Methodist Church). Barbara is a singer/songwriter who will be appearing at the Ten Pound Fiddle in E Lansing Fri night (Sept 24) and at the Ark on Sun night (Sept 26). Dress at GW is casual.
(I _thought_ those first few responses looked awful familiar...)
