Yesterday I was singing with some friends and at while my friend Pietro
came up with this beautiful 60's song but we couldn't remember all the
lyrics.
Can some of you post the full lyrics?

I don't have the full lyrics handy, but "We Shall Overcome" was the
anthem of the U.S. civil rights movement of the 1960's. I'll attempt
one stanza from memory:

        We shall overcome, we shall overcome,
        We shall overcome some day...
        Deep in my heart, I do believe,
        We shall overcome some day.

I've heard a whole bunch of different verses; I don't think there's an
official version.  The other one I can remember is "We shall live in peace,
we shall live in peace, etc. etc."
