Do you have more lyrics than that, it could be any number of love songs from
those lyrics.

the lyrics was something like-
I close my eyes ......
Hello is it me you are looking for
I can see it in your eyes....
I can feel it in your....
I love you....

I agree with mcnally on this one.

Yep, the video was him stalking a blind woman.

  Oh yeah, I remember now..

Now that we've answered the first question, are there any other
"who sings that song about {X}?" stumpers that people want to ask?

There's a song that's been bugging me all week. All I remember are three
lines from the chorus:

"I'm the one who wants to be with you
Deep inside I know you feel it too
Waiting on the line to talk to you..."

  No problem. Glad to help!

(AIGH!)

[the answer to #7 is Mr. Big, song entitled "To Be With You", from
album "Lean Into It". the "AIGH!" is for being dragged kicking and
screaming back to my sophomore year of high school by virtue of
association.]

Oh brrr...! Don't remind me of Mr. Big! I really hated that song, and very
little good was happening in pop music that year..

#12 of 20 by orinoco on Tue Jan 27 02:42:41 1998:

Dang, I'd forgotten about Mr. Big...whoa...

RE #12 So have a mess of other people, orinoco.

Paul Gilbert's band prior to Mr. Big, Racer X was much better IMHO.

I have some great shots of Gilbert and Racer X taken at a NAMM show, back
about '86 or '87.

I hope we don't drive McNally away......;-)

What you *should* be hoping is that you don't provoke a counter-offensive..

#16 of 20 by orinoco on Wed Jan 28 02:55:55 1998:

Actually, I don't have much of an opinion on Mr. Big. I must have been
napping at the time.

OK, here's mine. I've recently heared a sort-of alt-rock song that stareds
with the first couple/few lines of "Howl". (I saw the best minds of my
generation, bleeding, histarical...). Who the heck does that. And why have
I never even heard of "Mr. Big"? <Cricket is SO out of it...>

It's okay, Cricket....You're not missing much....:)

Trust me, that band was forgettable.

Can anyone help me I.D. a fairly recent (last year or so) song that
got a small-to-medium amount of play on "alternative" rock stations?
  The chorus goes something like:

"It was the suit that got me the gig.
It was the tear that got me the girl.
       I'm a sheep in this wolf's clothing,
       I'm a picture that I'm holding
       of someone who is cool."
