I think the story about Apple's Chinese labor conditions was out before 2020, but it is surely one of the greatest scandals of our times. It is a mystery why anyone, including Apple management tolerates it and remains silent. Establishing international standards for labor rights and making their observance a condition of doing business would make globalization a more humane enterprise.
