I've been around and the only places that can compete are NYC and DC. I'd take a pie from Boat Town or Downtown Detroit over anything else though. The south was miserable for pizza. I found a Jet's in Charlotte that was like a blessing from God when I lived there. I'd see Michigan licence plates in the parking lot. That was as a good as it got down there.
