And, um, what does this have to do with running Grex?

(Just wondering why this is in Co-op, that's all.)

What robh is alluding to Charles is that this item is much more suitable to
a conference such as "agora", as opposed to here in the coop conference, where
items should be limited in topic to the running of grex, etc.

And 2/24 isn't a Sunday. There is an item in the radio cf for announcing
ham swaps, by the way.

94 to Mich. Ave east will take you to Detroit. 94 to Southfield Rd.
north to Mich.Ave east about 1\2 mile puts you there.

Will you have a table there, n8qxp?

re--#1...well, grex could participate in this ham swap...of course the
board would have to authorize aruba to write a check to buy some hams
to swap...and what would grex get in exchange for its hams? Maybe
someone would swap a modem for a ham or something :)

<sigh> Welcome back, richard.

Davel, can you hold down the enthusiasm?

I dunno, I thought #6 was kinda funny. And the smiley suggests
that it was actually intended to be.

Maybe we could trade hams for cheese.

At the time that we stopped doing the JCC sales, there was some talk of doing
some local swap instead. Is there still interest in that?

In a swamp, they're likely green hams...

There were green hams at the swap - also, more experienced. It was held
in one very big room with about 15 (?) rows of double tables with
vendors between them and a mob in the aisles and hams and others were
buying stuff like mad - new, used, antique, junk... One vendor announced
everything on his table was 1 dollar - he was really cleaned out fast.

I don't know if Charles was there or not. Half the vendors looked like
Charles ;->. I didn't ask them if they were Charles, though....
