We had 4 new members in December: jerome, keesan, gibson, and mkc. We are
currently at 98 members, 93 of whom are paid through at least 1/15. (The
others expired recently and are in a grace period.)
This was a very good month for Grex in terms of income, and it's too bad the
huge bill to Ameritech obscures that. We're not done fighting with Ameritech
about the ISDN charges, but rather than keep getting shutoff notices I decided
to go ahead and pay them what they say we owe, and we'll try to get them to
refund us later. I know that isn't the strategy all you cutthroats would use,
but I was afraid that they were going to get fed up and cut us off, and then
we'd be really screwed. (Plus they had me convinced that there was a good
possibility we really did owe as much money as they said we did. See
item:coop,63 for more discussion of this fight.)
As it is, the general fund increased by $1.97. Woo-hoo!
