Here is the treasurer's report on Cyberspace Communications, Inc.
finances through July 31st, 1997.

Our current balance breaks down as follows:

We had three new members in July (psun, acorn, and dickb).  We are currently 
at 96 members, 90 of whom are paid through at least August 15th.  (The others 
expired recently and are in a grace period.) 

As you can see, we had a good month in July, largely thanks to the auction.

I'm playing temporary treasurer.  Either that or both Valerie and I are.  It's
a bit hard to tell.  Giving money to either of us will work very well for a
while though, so the board meeting or the walk is a good place to pay up your
pledges.

Valerie should be acting treasurer, because as President of Grex, she'd 
be the only person besides Aruba who could sign checks right?

Indeed, you did sign it, Jan, and so did Misti (I just found the copy in my
complex set of Grex files, stored using the "pile" method).  So in fact there
are four of us who can sign checks.
