The board meeting will be at 7:30pm on Wed, March 27. As usual, the meeting
place is still undecided. If jiffer can make arrangements, maybe we should
try Zingerman's again. If not, we'll probably revert to our usual summer
meeting place, the Union.

If anyone has agenda items to add, please post here. (But be restrained...
I'm running out of agenda numbers. I could add "III", but it would be even
less justifiable than "HPF".)

FORTRAN versions?

With the students gone, the Union has been a great place to meet. We usually
get a lot more visitors than at ITI.

Fortran versions is correct.

Well, if you run out, add WATFOR and WATFIV and maybe RATFOR?

(Durn! First numbering system I guessed in some months, and Scott
beat me to the punch.)

I had that one too, then again I got the last one. This may
reflect an upsetting trend of easy-to-guess systems. >8)

Actually, hard to guess systems are a lot harder to come up with than
easy to guess systems.

the place is reserved, we shall get the kids room. I plan on dining there
that night, more than likely my now usual #55 with a new pickle.

Jiffer has made reservations for a room at Zingerman's for the Board Meeting.
We will give that a try this month. If I understand correctly, this is a
room upstairs in the Zingerman's Next-door building.

Oops jiffer slipped in.

I guessed it too. That's actually surprising, as I don't use Fortran. :)

I forgot to say at the meeting, but I thought the kids room at Zingerman's
worked out very well as a meeting place. I'd like to thank Jennifer for
arranging it.

No problem! It was really easy. All they were concerned about was that
the wasn't already reserved.

Sorry we could not make this meeting, which was scheduled downtown as I had
requested. Jim was sick in bed and I went home to feed him instead. We had
hoped to meet more of the founding and organizing members.

Oh, that's too bad. I hope he feels better, and I hope you don't catch it.
I'm still coughing from what I caught at work.

#15 of 17 by keesan on Sat May 30 00:34:24 1998:

I had it first, the main symptom is exhaustion and a minor one is feeling like
you bit your tongue and it got infected (we both had that one, odd), and I
also felt too dizzy to think straight for three days at the beginning (same
as after one particularly bad case of flu). Anyone else have this bug? I
also had a brief sore throat and sneezed a bit. Lasts about 7-10 days and
also has intestinal symptoms. THanks for the sympathy, hope you stop coughing
soon and can take some time to rest.

Wow, that sounds like a nasty bug. Yuck.
