I've been trying to find a pristine copy of the old web-site prior to SVN. Someone suggested some weeks ago that I might find it in SVN so I copied the whole repo out and took a look. It's quite weird: starts at revision-2 - 1 file; revision-50 - 2 files; -r 100 nothing (total 2 files); -r-140 (3 files) -r-200 one file; -r 550 - 1 file.. -r 640 one file.. about this point there are a grand total of 8 files.. I used the following command: svn co file:///root/junk/delete/var/svn/trunk/grex/web -r 640 I verified the repo like so: svnadmin verify /root/junk/delete/var/svn/ around 690 i started getting more files.. (staffnotes) I'm confused: surely the old website should have been checked in at revision 1? Or, maybe staff wanted to start over with a clean slate in SVN.. in which case, where can I find the backup of the final-old website before it got incorporated into SVN??1 responses total.
See garage item 37. That might explain some of what you are seeing.
