Donated by Dave Lovelace (davel): I'll offer musical entertainment, one sitting, *very* informal (for instance, *don't* plan on this as background for your wedding reception!). Involved would be acoustic guitar & hammered dulcimer. I used to be, within a narrow range of styles, near professional level on guitar, now somewhat out of practice. On dulcimer, advanced-beginner level (lots of wrong notes, etc.). (Other instruments (mandolin, harmonica) which I've noodled around on but never really *played* available on request, if your interest is intellectual rather than musical.) Time available likely to be in neighborhood of an hour (?). It could conceivably run quite a bit more if I were to eschew instrumentals & sing - but *I* don't particularly like my voice, so why should you? This would have to be basically in the Ann Arbor area & scheduled so as to fit in with my own other commitments.17 responses total.
$10. I've heard Dave play hammer dulcimer. He is *good!*
(yes he is)
The current bid is $10 from popcorn, made two days ago.
One day until my bid of $10 becomes final. Dave is good... if you're not bidding for this item, you're missing a treat.
(See Valerie try to wriggle out of it ...)

Hey, if I win, I'm considering throwing a Grex pot luck to celebrate, if that's OK with you, Dave.
Ack, I'd bid $15, but I'm an hour too late. I should read the auction conference more often.
Nonsense. The auctioneer hasn't gotten around to closing the bidding yet. Valerie, you mean you'd make me watch everyone else eat? <sob>
Mark, if that's a bid of $15, the bidding is still open....
If you'll allow it, yes that was a bid.
Ok, the current bid is $15 from aruba.
Three days to go until aruba's bid of $15 becomes final.
Ooo, this is tempting. <valerie burrows through her wallet>
(And Mark's away for a while, right?)
<valerie reminds herself that she is unemployed, and lets Mark's bid stand>
One day to go until aruba's bid becomes final. And he won't even be here to see it. >8)
This item is sold to aruba for $15. Thanks Mark!
