Entered by robh on Sun Jul 7 03:30:16 1996:

Donated by Bret Weintraub (formerly zook):

An unopened box of Magic: the Gathering Cards. I can't
tell if these are alphas or betas, do we have a Magic
expert in the house?

To expand on the description (since I think Rob was getting punchy after
entering so many games): This is the "Deckmaster" set, with 120 cards, glass
counters, a little bag, rulebook, etc. Retail price was $19.95).

Re #2: Bid a dollar amount if you want it. If you end up with the highest
bid, the goods will be delivered to you after you pay cyberspace the money.
The goods were donated to Grex, so this money goes into Grex's coffers. Note
that if you aren't local to Ann Arbor, you may be asked to pay a shipping
charge in addition to your bid.

Deckmaster is the generic system which Magic: the Gathering
uses, so I didn't include it.

Actually, I thought this was a box of booster packs, but upon
review I see that scott is right, this is a boxed set containing:

        2 60-card decks
30 glass counters (for life points, one would assume)
Flannel bag for storing the counters
        Illustrated Rule Book (???)
        Card Collectors' checklist

The copyright date is 1994, so it's a safe bet that the checklist
is not up to date. >8)

muthuk - Just put a bid in, if you want it. Check items 1 and 2
for more specific rules.

Also, muthuk, if you want to see a list of the things that are up for auction,
type "browse" at an "Ok:" prompt. Then, say item 54 looks interesting, you
would type "read 54" to see all of item 54, or "read 54 new" to see only what
is new in item 54 since the last time you looked at it.
