Donated by Meg Heberlein (eeyore):

a carrot cake.

[Note: I've had Meg's carrot cake before. I don't even *like* carrot cake,
and yet I think Meg's carrot cake is awesomely fantastic. -vm]

(But we want our community to *grow*. 8^)

#15 of 25 by headdoc on Thu May 30 14:20:40 1996:

We are looking to this auction as a fundraiser. A 5cent bid is a spoiler and
does not add to Grex's coffers. I will say $12.50 and hope that anyone who
raises that bids a significant bid.

#16 of 25 by janc on Thu May 30 15:38:34 1996:

(Five cents is five cents. If the previous bidder doesn't top that, then it
 is probably because he is rubbing his hands together saying, "ha, ha, I
 managed to drive the price up and didn't even get stuck paying".)

 One should not bid if one does not intend to buy!

#18 of 25 by qt314 on Thu May 30 21:38:37 1996:

Hey, I am sorry that I only raised it $.05, but at the time that I made the
bid, that was all the more that I could afford!
$13 So THERE!!
<pout>
Audrey, besides, I was under the impression that every little bit helped and
that the auction was supposed to be both a fun-raiser as well as a fundraiser.
To be attacked due to one's bid is not fun!!

#19 of 25 by nephi on Thu May 30 22:46:42 1996:

<nephi tackles audrey>

#20 of 25 by headdoc on Fri May 31 00:41:26 1996:

Michael, I haven't had so much fun in years. . .being tackled in virtual
reality. . .qt314, that wasn't meant as an attack, but rather a petulant
complaint. I have to think about how badly I want those calories. .

#21 of 25 by nephi on Fri May 31 01:39:03 1996:

<nephi grins loudly at audrey 'cause she's so cool>
