Item 19: Three loaves of homemade handmade bread

Entered by popcorn on Sat May 11 12:56:29 1996:

Donated by Jim Reuter (omni):
3 loaves of homemade bread made by my hands (meaning no bread machine). It
will have to be white, because I'm a beginner, but my last creations turned
out pretty well.

Oh -- One loaf goes to each of the three highest bidders. If you need your
bread mailed, please include an extra $2 for Jim for postage. Thanks!

I might add that I will have my Mom looking over my shoulder, so it's not
going to be a flop.

I'm just a little sad at this item not getting any bids. Bid, please!!!

I might mention that the other 2 loaves have yet to be spoken for. In certain
cases, I will deliver your bread. (That last sentence was directed at freida)
;)

bruin's bid of $2 will secure him one loaf of bread as of
tomorrow. Two more loaves will still be available.

Oops, so he did. The prevelance of 2's in the other responses
must have thrown me. >8)

#9 of 29 by robh on Sun May 26 19:58:13 1996:

And bruin officially has one of the three loaves for $3.
Any bids for the other two?

#10 of 29 by omni on Sat Jun 1 04:15:32 1996:

I won't beg you to bid, that's less work for me, but I do make a pretty good
loaf of bread.

I'm getting a bread machine soon, so you better get it in gear, because once
I have a machine, all that kneading and stuff is history!

So how is this going to work? I could deliver the bread to an auctioneer
and they could send it, or ??? well you guys work that detail out.

#20 of 29 by aruba on Tue Jun 11 04:47:48 1996:

Hmmm... I suppose if fuzzball sends the money to Grex, either I could mail it
or someone else could and I'd reimburse them.

Let's kill this item off. I bid $3 for the final loaf.

#23 of 29 by denise on Sun Jun 16 00:59:54 1996:

Is there a loaf still available?? How about $3.50?

#24 of 29 by denise on Sun Jun 16 01:02:56 1996:

Oops, this isn't for Valerie's pumkin bread... Guess I need to go reread
the item I'm bidding on!!

#25 of 29 by robh on Sun Jun 16 02:12:10 1996:

Did you want to withdraw your bid, denise?

(The pumpkin bread was bought a while ago my my sister, natbaird.)

#26 of 29 by robh on Sun Jun 16 23:17:32 1996:

The current bid is $3 from robh, made three days ago.

#27 of 29 by omni on Mon Jun 17 05:02:43 1996:

Denise, it's righteous bread. Like I said before, after I get my machine,
kneading will be something that only Mom does. ;) She made some killer potato
bread that makes some awesome toast..

#28 of 29 by robh on Thu Jun 20 07:27:43 1996:

Eleven hours to go until robh's bid becomes final.
Going, going, ...

#29 of 29 by robh on Thu Jun 20 18:28:05 1996:

The item is close, the third loaf is SOLD to robh for $3.
