Donated by TS Taylor (tsty): A t-shirt and ceramic beverage mug. Before you get all enthused about this there is more, yes, *more* to this than would ordinarily be considered. Photographically imprinted onto either will be the IMAGE OF YOUR CHOICE! And this image can be photographically printed onto either the front or back of the t-shirt .. or printed for a left-hander or right=hander on the ceramic beverage mug. And you receive your original image returned to you unscathed. Any computer image in jsut about any format ( i can convert about 40 different types) - Any photograph (not film negative, sorry, the transfer is exhorbitantly expensive) you have of any reasonable size, any film positive (like a large-format slide, larger than 35mm) will work just fine. The smallest real-life image that will fill the space available is approx 1.25 inches on it's shortest axis. (like the center section of a drug store print) For a slightly higher bid, you may also have two lines of text superimposed over the image, either across the top/bottom or up/down the left/right edge, as you should specify, or a combination up/left/bottom/down/right/top. don't worry about breaking anything ... the Borg has seen the ugliest mug in existence (last Nov. i think) and its stil intact after all this time. Ummmm, it had my face on it .... <g> ... and my email address, fwiw. You could choose a baseball cap, or 2x3 keychain, or 3 in round button, or a 1 Milliion dollar bill, or something else, but t-shirts and mugs seem to be the most useful. Two items total are hereby offered. These are really great for gifts or memorial thingies -or to display your own artistic creativities.18 responses total.
I bid $5.
Are we bidding on both items together?
6.00
Yup, as I understand it, we are bidding on both items together. $7
I bid $10
$12
$15.00
ummm, actually, the offer was originally thought ot be one or the other and a total of two items offerred. Two-together is fine with me as long as that is clear. I think, also, that if a single-item bid is greater than half of a two-together bid, two ppl win. the single-item bidder receives that item, as bid, adn the two-together bidder receives the other item at 1/2 of the two-together bid. grex gains an extra buck or so, and there are two winners sted one. I would suggest that bidding increments be at least $0.50 per item. does this work for you?
*Takes out his slide rule and his abacus* =}
As an unsolicited testimonial, I've seen one of TS's mugs, and the quality of the printing was really impressive!
YEs, actually, it wasn't the typical mall court fare... high resolution, vibrant colors... he brought a sample of both the shirt and the mug to GNO a few weeks back.
$16.00
I am confused by #8. TS, I think you're saying you'd prefer this to be sold as two separate items? In that case, maybe we should start the bidding over, since I gave out the wrong information. <valerie looks very confused>
ummm, not to worry popcorn. there *are* two items offerred. Either one or two ppl can win - i have no preference. whatever confusion existed seem to have disappeared except for whether or not aruba's #12 was for both or one (and then, which one)?
It would be less confusing to do two seperate items. I'd freeze this and start two more. People who have made bids can easily enough rebid.
You mean you'll ask the f-w's to freeze it, right? >8)
No, it wouldn't be my place to ask for it to be frozen. Tsty might ask, or the fairwitnesses might choose to do so, I just suggest.
This item has been replaced with item 30.
