I imagine it catches dreams in some way, but can someone describe a bit more about how a dream catcher is used?
Traditionally, a dream catcher is made for a child by a relative, is hung in the window or doorway of his/her first sleeping place and is kept and used for life. All dreams entering the room/area are caught in the dreamcatcher's web. The good dreams travel down a feather to the dreamer, the bad ones remain in the web to be burned off by the morning sun.
$27
Oh, puhlease! And I suppose it recieves periodic maintainence from the easter bunny and the tooth fairy?
but of course! santa is too big to get his fingers in something that delicate! :) 30$!
*brighn wonders if Greg feels compelled to insult everyone's religious beliefs, or just certain ones* Actually, NA Traditionalists don't clean them, I don't think, but the neoPagans who has usurped the tradition do clean them out every six months or so (which reminds me, mine need to be blessed in the first place).
Arg, I thought it had settled. $31
sorry...:) $33
Damn. :) $34
(meg thinks that she's gonna havce to go up to 37...:)
Is that a definite bid of $37, or do you mean you're still thinking about it?
ref #19: Was that really necessary, gregc? Sorry taht there's no room in your head for even a small romantic notion. <sheesh!>
eeyore - let me know if response 25 is an actual bid, otherwise I'll have to assume it's not.
it is...sorry, i didn't mean to make it sound questionable,
No problem, I just need to make sure. I'd hate to put a joke response in saying "Maybe I should bid $100" and find out a week later that I'd just spent $100 on something like that.
$38. (Scott makes a teeth-grinding angry face at Meg)
(A bit of advice, Scott: don't try a large numeric leap in an effort to spook her ;-).
(Somehow I don't think intimidation will work either. ;)
Current bid is $24 from scott, made 5-24.
Actually, current bid is $38 from scott, made 5-24.
AAAAAH!! TOO MANY NUMBERS!!! BRAIN IS IMPLODING!!!!
Someone better get Rob some skull supports.
<valerie, not sure exactly what to do about a brain implosion, gingerly hugs robh, hoping it will help> :)
Current bid is $38 (not $24, not $5.8 octillion) from scott, which becomes final as of tomorrow. Going, going, ...

I'm not broke, but $41 is out of my price range, especially since I already have one.
harumph... $40 was my limit... ah well...
I want one but I know or knew anyway how to make them myself
Current bid is $41 from scott, made on 5-30.
<growls at gregc, then looks at Kae and says, "Oh my *WORD*!!!" 41 dollars???> <bouncing with Kae>
scott's bid will become final in two days. Going, going, ...
Five and a half hours to go! Anyone? Anyone at all?
Too late. ;)
