<sigh> sometimes I wish TS would just type in coherent sentences using
conventional spelling.....

Who is more a fool? who is more a fool? the fool, or the fool who follows
the fool?

(I think that was Erik B and Rakim)

Re #9: I've heard a variant of that quote: "Argue with a fool, and there
are two fools."

Which is why you don't see me get embroiled in many online arguments. :)

#13 of 36 by naftee on Wed Nov 5 16:54:30 2003:

Argue this.

#14 of 36 by tsty on Thu Nov 6 10:25:56 2003:

argument adn tweaking .. adn the slim separation between ... is a
developed art form. most often i tweak .. sometimes i argue.

you figger it out.........

i appraciate goose's observation (#5) whilst subjecting the assembled
multitude to think. goose, among others, does. mayhapps the challenge is
over the top, but, hey, it's me ...

what else can i say?

#15 of 36 by goose on Thu Nov 6 13:58:29 2003:

So, by trying to figure out what the hell you're saying using unconventional
spelling and grammar you're trying to make us think more? At least for me,
it makes me think less about your rants.

I'm not trying to be a pain in the ass TS, but when your posts are incoherent
rants that are hard to follow, I discount them, as do others.

#16 of 36 by glenda on Thu Nov 6 17:20:59 2003:

Sorry TS, but it has gotten so bad that I don't read your posts at all. I
am responding to this because of what goose has posted. They don't make me
think, just ignore.

#17 of 36 by bru on Thu Nov 6 17:51:06 2003:

They ignore me too, TS. I do not think it is teh spelling, but the position
they ignore.

#18 of 36 by keesan on Thu Nov 6 17:55:15 2003:

It is the spelling. Pico has a spellchecker.

#19 of 36 by remmers on Thu Nov 6 18:52:05 2003:

Re #17: They don't ignore you, Bruce. They just don't agree with you.

#20 of 36 by edina on Thu Nov 6 18:52:38 2003:

Bruce, it's the spelling, not what he posts. I actually do read what you
post.

#21 of 36 by goose on Thu Nov 6 19:06:56 2003:

Bruce, I often don't agree *at all* with what you say, but I never ignore you
or discount what you say based on your position. If you started using TS
style grammar or spelling, then I would be inclined to ignore you.

It is teh spelling. ;-)

#25 of 36 by mynxcat on Thu Nov 6 22:10:09 2003:

Sorry TS, but I have to agree. Your posts do give me a headache, it's
hard to figure out what you're saying, even if I am able to figure out
the spelling.

I don't ignore bru's posts. I think they make for some great
entertainment

#26 of 36 by keesan on Thu Nov 6 23:40:36 2003:

Some people really cannot spell, some people simply don't care enough to
correct their typos.

#27 of 36 by gull on Fri Nov 7 14:18:40 2003:

I always make the attempt to figure out what tsty is trying to say. I
don't always succeed, though.

#28 of 36 by tsty on Tue Nov 11 09:49:08 2003:

goose .. you are not being any sort of 'pain'. quite the contrary.

my posts *do* *challange* the reader! sometinex for "typos" sometmies
for content. teh decision to comprehend is left up to the reader.

anyone who wnats a <translation>/plain text copy can ask .. in conference.

when i ahve ben asked, however, teh asker typically gets embarassed.

with the intellectual level that is apparent on grex - not kidding! - i
dont amke special excpetions for the weak-minded. ont he m0b0x i do.

#29 of 36 by goose on Tue Nov 11 14:49:02 2003:

So you're trying to "challange"(sic) us? Well, I for one am done trying
to muddle through your misspellings and incomprehensible grammar. Mistakes
happen (in regard to grammar and typos), but frankly it's just too much for
me. I give up. I'll be mostly breezing by your posts until they stop
resembling the rantings of an inebriated person. Sorry.

Oh, although I will take you up on plaintext versions of all your posts
since the first of October. Feel free to post them wherever, or mail them
to me, but I will be sharing them with the readers if mailed to me. ;-)

#30 of 36 by keesan on Tue Nov 11 16:13:05 2003:

I wonder if some people are just incapable of writing coherently in addition
to not being able to spell. In which case they could ask a friend to post
for them if they have something worth saying.

#31 of 36 by goose on Tue Nov 11 16:56:48 2003:

While I appreciate the sentiment Sindi, I have met TS in person where he has
been quite coherent, and I have seen TS write/spell properly in the past.
Mind you, it's been a while, but I have no doubt he has the capability.
