I'm mourning the losses of Steve Graham and Steve Fisher. I didn't know
Johnny Cash.

#2 of 56 by dah on Mon Oct 6 04:28:06 2003:

I used to sing for family entertainment Johnny Cash how embarassing and what
memories.

#3 of 56 by tsty on Tue Oct 7 06:57:15 2003:

... steve fisher? sound guy from a2? huh?

dittos about graham, cash, clarence baker (bakers keyboard lounge),
jim paffenburger .. and far too many others.

time sucks when taken in large chunks.

#4 of 56 by other on Tue Oct 7 14:18:57 2003:

Yes, that one. Pulmonary arrest, Thursday night. He was on the lung
transplant waiting list, but was not expected to last long enough to get
to the top of it. He didn't. Our community has lost another truly
gentle and talented soul.

#5 of 56 by tsty on Wed Oct 8 14:42:00 2003:

DAMN! other is certainly right about a gentle adn talented soul.

... adn out of left field ... thwack!

if he's pro-arab, how can he be an anti-semite?

#8 of 56 by dah on Fri Oct 10 05:12:51 2003:

The Jews are the better half of the Semitic races.

#9 of 56 by happyboy on Fri Oct 10 05:18:00 2003:

wasn't dale earnhardt killed in one of them semetic races?

#10 of 56 by tsty on Sat Oct 11 04:37:37 2003:

that was a semetic-wall race .. hard concrete.

btw, how did russ (well, i know) twist from johnny cash to arabs?

RETURN THE GUITAR.

#13 of 56 by russ on Sun Oct 12 01:06:59 2003:

Oh, I dunno, Barry. First, I'm sure he sold it and can't give
it back. Second, it depends what he used the money for. If
it went to some worthy cause, I might give him some credit.

However, since TS continues to deny that he ever had my guitar
(a claim belied by a multi-faceted trail of evidence that he
refuses to face), I continue to scorn him as thieving, lying scum.

#14 of 56 by slynne on Sun Oct 12 01:53:29 2003:

OMG, TS has lost russ's good opinion. HOw *ever* will he live with
himself. haha.

#15 of 56 by slynne on Sun Oct 12 01:55:02 2003:

Anyhow, I heard that the guitar was Marae's.

(psst Barry, I bet we can get them to argue about this for at least 10-
15 responses. What do you think?)

#16 of 56 by happyboy on Sun Oct 12 03:05:31 2003:

(i don't know...one of them might be too drunk to remember
 what really happened)

#17 of 56 by slynne on Sun Oct 12 13:53:15 2003:

(yeah and the other one might be too narcissistic to think he could
possibly be mistaken about the whole thing)

re17, 18 :)

#20 of 56 by russ on Sun Oct 12 21:30:40 2003:

If slynne wants to bet me that the guitar was not mine, she's
free to issue a challenge. I think $200 would be a good
amount to wager.

#21 of 56 by slynne on Sun Oct 12 21:50:47 2003:

I know this will be hard for you to understand but I dont really care
if the guitar was yours or Marae's or if you lent it to TS or if he
stole it or if you misplaced it and *think* you lent it to him or if
you thought you lent it to him and he thought it was gift or whatever.

Let the guitar go...

I am waiting for happyboy to find out that I gave Kari Plesco his cast
iron stew pot. Then we can have a *real* fight.

#22 of 56 by other on Sun Oct 12 21:55:57 2003:

You lying thieving scumbag bitch! Give it back.

#23 of 56 by slynne on Sun Oct 12 23:35:08 2003:

I cant give it back because I already gave it away. :) Now, mind you. I
didnt get anyones permission and that pot was never actually given to
me. Did I steal it? YOU be the judge.

#24 of 56 by gull on Mon Oct 13 01:30:19 2003:

I hear Jimmy Hoffa has the guitar and is using it in his jam sessions
with Elvis.

#25 of 56 by happyboy on Mon Oct 13 07:12:34 2003:

re21: it's ok if you did it because you were drunk
or had NPD at the time. plus i left it for you to deal with
because i could never get it to season properly, but i may
have been drunk at the time.

hey did you steal my copy of "white trash cooking"?

because if i left it there i probably meant for you to have it
but if i didn't mean for you to have it then i must want it back
even though i don't really.

i recommend trying the recipie for "tuttie's fruited porkettes"
even though i never tried it. well i might have but may have
been too drunk to remember or so afraid of admitting it that
i dissassociated myself from the event, creating a fantasy in
the
process that i WOULD NEVER EVER EAT SUCH FOOD.

/goes back to his bowl of mac & cheese sooprize.

#26 of 56 by bru on Mon Oct 13 14:05:50 2003:

I think I have fianlly found a way to season my cast iron cookware by cooking
sonething I never really thought I would like to eat but do.

The song is "Hurt" as originally recorded by Nine Inch Nails. The video is
one of my favorites and is even move poignant, with the loss of both Johnny
and June Carter Cash.
