Item 236: a life gone in 7 days.

Entered by jlamb on Sat Sep 20 17:34:00 2003:

Recently, one of my close friends was in a car accident. He was
driving on a country road, hit some lose gravel, tire blew, and he
rolled his car 4 or 5 times, into a bean field. The care was 150%
totaled, and he broke his neck in 2 different places. I wwas horrified
by this event. He is doind really well now, even attending school.

Then, Last night, I got a phone call, in the middle of a football game
i was attending, I found out my best friend was in a car accident. I
left the football game immediately and went to a friends house, to wait
for more information. by 10pm we have found out what happened, and my
best friend is now DEAD.

Thankgoodness to wireless technology, it would've been manyhours later
if wireless technology wasnt used.

Now, i dont know what to think of life, is my life next? i dont know.

I'm really sorry Jeremy. It must be hard to go through what you have. Life
is temporary, you'll never know who goes next. All you can do is make the most
of the time you have.

Well said, mynxcat.

I've very sorry for you Jeremy. I know this must be hard for you but try just
to think of all the good things you remember about your friend. That's the
best way to honor him, and if you do that, he's not really gone.

Jeff.
