darkeroticatiger: wow that is a very lovely pic in your profile
grexian: um, thanks.
darkeroticatiger: i don't mean to sound weird, i was board and just
fliping through pics on yahoo, and came across yours, and its lovely
grexian: appreciate the compliment.
darkeroticatiger: np, have a great day
grexian: you too.

This was just freakin' weird. The IM handle alone was enough to give
me the gibblies, and the profile wasn't much better. Thankfully, the
picture wasn't lewd, so I didn't think it was some porn bot, and there
was someone talking back. But why would some 20 year old chick in FL
be telling a married man with a kid "your pic is lovely," especially
when that pic has the wife in it? I just don't know...

alittlesweety: Hi! Saw yur profile on yahoo. HUbby transfered to
Kennewick, and I will follow as soon as the house in sold. Looking to
meet new friends and see what there is to do in kennewick. Interested
in chatting?
grexian: Sure-- what's up?
alittlesweety: Not much.... how r u today?
grexian: Not bad, talking with a friend about plans to hang out,
basically. Had a birthday yesterday and figuring someway to celebrate
it.
alittlesweety: Well, happy birthday!
grexian: thanks.
alittlesweety: What is there to do in kennewick ?
grexian: Post Falls-- where is that, exactly?
alittlesweety: Before you hit coeur d' Alene on the free way about 30
miles from spokane
grexian: Oh really? Wow, okay. Fairly close by.
grexian: About 3 hours or so.
alittlesweety: Yeah, it has become second nature to me..... I usually
go there on weekends
alittlesweety: I usually make it in about 2 1/2 I leave when I get off
work in spokane before the weeken
grexian: Kennewick-- well as far as karaoke and dancing-- well, most
of that is at the 'bars'
grexian: You never know though-- you might try Coco Loco down on
Columbia Center Boulevard on the Richland side
grexian: most of the other dancing places are more for singles
alittlesweety: Really, my hubby doesn't dance or sing, but I like to.
He enjoys watching me also. WE haven't gone out much anymore it
seems.... even before we moved....... we mostly had friends for bbq's
and dinners and watched movies.
grexian: That's too bad. Before our daughter was born, my wife and I
liked to go dancing-- but she can't handle the smoke in most places.
alittlesweety: When I go on the weekends we kind of just stay around
the house since we don't know anybody or where thinsg are..... we did
go to the mall last weekend. Same mall, different place though. LOL
alittlesweety: He will go dance once in a while. He thinks he looks
like a fool, but I think he dances pretty good.
alittlesweety: We also tried a mexican restraunt by the planned
parenthood building..... wasn't to impressed though
grexian: Casa Chapala? Really...
alittlesweety: that was it
alittlesweety: I guess we are use to the mexican around here
grexian: I can't remember where I've liked Mexican best. We all
should connect once you get here-- I've lived here in the area 26 yrs
and I could show you all around
alittlesweety: That would be great! SO u only have one child then?
grexian: Yeah-- she's 14 mos.
alittlesweety: We get my hubby's son every other weekend. Different
plans will be made once I move down there.
grexian: I see.
alittlesweety: I got so lost there one day when he was working that I
never ventured out again by myself. I usually have a good sence of
direction but I got really lost. I am sure once I get some landmarks
and my easts and wests right I should be fine. I was actually house
hunting for us.
grexian: I *love* BBQs-- I wish we could do them in our little
apartment. If you still plan to have some, I would be glad to help.
grexian: But technically, I grill. Barbequeing is a little different.
alittlesweety: That works. He has a small bbq right now, but he does
great with it. I will bring the big one down soon to him. He is
pretty known for his bbq chicken it is his specialty. Even I don't
know all the things he puts in for the sauce.
alittlesweety: WE would bbw every night if we could. He has truied to
master kabobs but hasn't been succesful I think it all has to do with
the marinade
grexian: Probably. Marinade overnight?
alittlesweety: what is your specialty?
alittlesweety: Yeah, wehave done that maybe we just haven't found the
right sauce. It took us a while with grilled salmon to master though
too.
grexian: I haven't figured out what I do best yet-- I really like
cooking corn in the husk on the coals, grilling zucchini dipped in
teriyaki, and sirloin cut pork is nice...
alittlesweety: zuchinni sounds good...............
grexian: it is.
alittlesweety: what types of movies do you like?
grexian: Oh, I'm a gamer straight down to the bone, so I favor a lot
of sci-fi/fantasy/action flicks
alittlesweety: right on.......... we have a extensive movie
collection..... we love to buy movies
grexian: heh
grexian: my wife and I have been happy to say "Make Mine Marvel"
lately... although we decided to skip The Hulk.
alittlesweety: Yeah it looked pretty fake to me so we didn't see it
grexian: I don't know what she thought, but I understood it was
lacking in substance. We were not disappointed in X-Men, X2, Spider-
Man, or Daredevil, however
alittlesweety: very true
grexian: We've also been following the Matrix series
alittlesweety: did u watch the animatrix?
grexian: and Star Wars
grexian: no, not yet
alittlesweety: I'm a star wars fan
grexian: yeah. I love (Link: www.starwars.com)www.starwars.com
alittlesweety: WE saw the previews for animatric it looked pretty good
grexian: Where are they showing this again?

previews......it was at the discount her in post falls
grexian: No discount theaters here
grexian: (i.e. $1-$2)
alittlesweety: The doscount around here is about $4.50
grexian: hmmm
grexian: matinee prices here aren't nearly that cheap
alittlesweety: Well, hey thanks for the chat I need to go. Hope to
chat again soon!
grexian: so do I. I've added you as you can see, so I'll be here.
alittlesweety: Great! Have a good day!
grexian: you too :)

This was some time ago. I have to remember that some women still pick
cutesy names for handles, but I still jumped a little. The only thing
that was hard was when she asked, "What is there to do in Kennewick?"
Wow, not much, really. Arts and entertainment is a little thin in our
area. So I looked at her profile for hobbies and from there went the
rest of the conversation. I have enjoyed karaoke and dancing, so I
recommended a few places. Interestingly enough, the Mexican place she
mentions I recognize and have been to.

I mention BBQ/grilling next, as I see that's something she likes and
it's something Julie and I are fond of. Maybe our families will meet
for a BBQ? The last topic is movies until she has to go. Sadly, I
haven't heard from her since-- don't know if either of them have moved
down here.

"Hey jak, did you hear about the insanity that Darius pulled off? Y!M
me and I'll tell you about it......."

I use the same handle on another webforum. It's soft role-playing for
a Camarilla character of mine. More drama and such. This is Vampire
stuff, but it pales in comparison to the Mage stuff. If Anne happens
to be reading this, I would imagine she might find it funny that for
us, the Mage national chronicle is like a whole freaking soap opera,
and a lot of it may be webjournaled... who knows.

Why? Oh yeah, so far, this is the worst... and I'll admit the first
one I'll just never figure out.
