Hey! You forgot an important plank in his platform: Women will
be required to wear veils in all public places, and may not expose
any flesh in public except for the eyes. I don't object to laws
like this, per se. I do object to them in the United States. Other
societies can choose their own course. I think Pat needs to consider
emigrating to a country where his ideas of extreme control of 
individual freedom will be appreciated. Lets take up a collection
and buy him a ticket - one way on the airline of his choice.

After hearing excerpts from the speech Buchann made to the Christian Coalition
last week, I'd agree completely...except I'm not packing my bags; I doubt
anyone who wasn't in the room to hear the speech in person would ever
vote for him. (Rundown: The country is in hell because we're not all good
Christians...and oh, yeah, the UN is bad.)
