This is the item I promised earlier for those who wish to volunteer to WRITE the stories that the FW's of this cf have volunteered to edit. You will not be paid, but you will be appreciated. If you write regularly, you might even be able to get away with putting this on your resume.
12 responses total.
I'll write- but about what?
Is there an interesting personality from Agora that you would like to interview? Is there any occurance that happened this season that you would like to write about? Would you like to write this seanson's "Agora Summary" (Or something like that, anyway. Pretty much just snippets of interesting goings on in the conferences.) Would you like to highlight a particular conference and tell about all the neat discussions there? Do you have any other ideas?
Would you like to highlight a particular conference *family*, so that we can showcase all the cf's in a dozen issues, rather than 80-some?
I like the cf-family concept.. but don't ask me for anything to do with agora- I'm never going back there!
You wouldn't have to even read the cf's you are writing about: you could just interview the fw's, and maybe some active posters (whose names you could get from the fw's). I am defining the "families" by the groups in the cf listing, of course. Some of the smaller "families" could be done together, again, to make it go faster.
Oh- I thought you meant we'd just group two-four cf's together, by a common thread of some kind.
That, of course, is also an option, but if they are already grouped, why bother? :)
Because some groupings don't work, and others include too many cf's to do them justice..
Quite true... Heh, if you choose the groupings cleverly enough, perhaps YOUR groupoings will become the new standard!! :-)
Scary thought.. I'll see what i can do, then!
Run rampant !! :-)
Is there anything else that needs writing about? I'm yours if you need me!
