#13 of 100 by jenna on Sun Jun 9 05:49:01 1996:

I mean, you might find people who would LIKE to know about this item
and see what styles they have.

#14 of 100 by pyrt on Sun Jun 9 10:53:34 1996:

you might do, but then again you might find a group of head shrinking
indigenous people. and then again you might not. :)

#15 of 100 by jenna on Sun Jun 9 22:31:25 1996:

Ok fine. <the fairwitness of the poetry conference stalks off,
thinking she could just link the item, but not bothering)

#17 of 100 by jenna on Mon Jun 10 03:20:20 1996:

(I'm not mad, and I hve no money. I'm a poor poet & novelist)

#18 of 100 by remmers on Mon Jun 10 12:51:30 1996:

(monetarily poor, I assume you mean)

#19 of 100 by wavestar on Mon Jun 10 20:27:10 1996:

It probably won't cost very much... I'm told it's completly non-profit.. and
there's not enough goths in this world to make it profitiable. Please forgive
Pryt and my own random bablings, jenna.. We forgot tot drop that addiude when
we came onto this item, which is not only on fuzcourt. I think linking this
to the poetry might be very good idea. But then, I'm not in charge...

#20 of 100 by jenna on Mon Jun 10 20:51:24 1996:

this item has been linked from writing 187 and wherever else it was
to poetry 763. ta-da. so all you gothy poets take a look.

#21 of 100 by pyrt on Mon Jun 10 22:55:08 1996:

apologising to the jenna

#22 of 100 by brighn on Tue Jun 11 00:07:12 1996:

"there's not enough goths in this world to make it profitable"?
*blink blink * *dumbfounded look* *blink blink*
Quick! someone go tell White Wolf and Cleopatra Records
to shut down business and get real jobs! There's no money in goth!

Seriously, you shouldbe saying "not-for-profit", I think.
"non-profit" is a specific IRS status, and they could get riled
if you wander about usin it. "not-for-profit" has a legal definition,
but it's broader and the IRS is more lenient with it.

What sort of backing does this have? Sorry for the skepticism,
but so far I've seen Red Velvet Roses and JULES as publications
adverted on Grex, and I've only seen one edition of JULES (Red
Velvet Roses, meanwhile, collapsed because one of the publishers moved out
of state). I'll submit stuff (I could write goth in my sleep),
but I'd like some sort of black-hole assurance, if there is any.

#23 of 100 by poseur on Tue Jun 11 01:05:08 1996:

i'd like a copy of the 'zine or whatever.
i dont think i'm a goth writer..oh, wait.
i'll just write about death and blood.. and the way the world just sucks.

#24 of 100 by rsngcain on Tue Jun 11 02:08:20 1996:

...And lo! there was dark..
 People *are* interested...

We have no backing besides our gumption. Brighn, you dont know you
know me but you know me.. and Id love you to submit by mailing to
this address. That goes for Every Last One of You.

We offer no cash, and ask no rights.. you retain all copyright..
 whats blackhole insurance?

#25 of 100 by brighn on Tue Jun 11 03:28:53 1996:

Assurance that if i submit something it won't disappear with the magazine,
and i'll never know if i was published or not.
You've given me private assurance that that won't happen.

#26 of 100 by sekari on Tue Jun 11 04:03:28 1996:

is it just me or is this incredibly random?

#27 of 100 by jenna on Tue Jun 11 15:59:01 1996:

r
Yep... very random. I might submit something...

#28 of 100 by sekari on Wed Jun 12 01:59:37 1996:

scary
not for any specific reason

#29 of 100 by rsngcain on Wed Jun 12 01:59:54 1996:

#30 of 100 by brighn on Wed Jun 12 16:21:30 1996:

#31 of 100 by poseur on Wed Jun 12 17:03:33 1996:

#32 of 100 by pyrt on Wed Jun 12 18:18:14 1996:

#33 of 100 by brighn on Wed Jun 12 20:00:36 1996:

#34 of 100 by sekari on Thu Jun 13 04:54:59 1996:

I am just as lacking in such preconceptions of self as you are in your
ability to caring out your desires

#35 of 100 by fuz on Fri Jun 14 02:58:18 1996:

 woah.

#36 of 100 by octavius on Sat Jun 15 02:41:41 1996:

Gothic doesn't necessarily mean horror... although it generally does
:(, what a shame, even though the Middle Ages (which we often get our
        ideaeas
of what gothic shouod be from.

#37 of 100 by rsngcain on Sat Jun 15 14:58:35 1996:

Let me restate what we want.. We want literature that will fit in a good
litmag to be read by Gothic people. This need not be horror, though
 should generally be Dark.

#38 of 100 by remmers on Sat Jun 15 20:41:45 1996:

(Are Gothic people the ones whose heads come to a point, in
contrast to Romanesque people who have round heads?)

#39 of 100 by jenna on Sat Jun 15 20:59:52 1996:

<jenna wonders *what* sekari is off about)
