I have an assignment for political science , and I need a little direction. We have to fill in the blanks on a sheet with all the political figures, from house people to county and city people. (For our own district, of course). The problem is, where do I find this information? I'm not terrifically interestined in po9litics, so most of these positions, let alone who fills them, are unknown to me. So my basic questions are: How do I find out what my district(s) is/are and who all the political figures for that discrict are? If anyone can help me with this, I'd be grateful.. ps. don't send me to the library, I don't have time to go :( If there are resources I can get via computer or phone calls, that would be the most helpful.

Contact your League of Women Voters. They specialize in providing such information about your government. They may have a flyer from a recent election that they prepared for public information.
There is a lot of government material online. I had to solve a similar problem for HVCN while I was building up their "Government Infocenter". What I accomplished can be found in its 0.75-baked state in the HVCN prototype pages at http://www.sils.umich.edu/~hvcntech/info/gov.html The LWV is a good resource. In the HVCN gov pages, you will see a pointer to the AA LWV. Those pages are being transferred from Uof M SILS, where they were written by Library students to HVCN where they will be kept and maintained for the AA LWV. These AA LWV pages may not have the kind of info you are looking for yet, though.

(I think there was one earlier in the math item, and maybe one in physics too)
Hey, what happened to the math question you were going to ask?
Oh, I haven't been on from my room yet. Hold on, I may have it here. Nope. It's in my room. I'll dig it up.
Well, this is way late, but also your local registrar would be able to give you that information.
