It occurrs to me that there may be people interested in meeting Grexers from other places, but who don't have the time, money, ambition, or whatever, to do a Grex tour. Fortunately, there is probably an easier way. If you're going to be traveling, post your destinations here, and then people in the places you're visiting can see it and respond.

I guess I might as well start. I'll be in Chicago and Minneapolis around Christmas/New Years.
If I keep saving up my pennies, I should be across the pond in Vermont for a month in February.
i'm goig to chicago in feb!!!!!
If Carson and I get things (like details) worked out we will be in Virginia and a few other areas in January.
Ann Arbor for Xmas.
I shall be in Ann Arbor.
I will be spending my Christmas break (Dec. 21-Jan. 18) in the huge megaopolis of Buffalo, IL. (pop. 500, 10 miles east of Springfield, IL) (I) Don't figure I'll be seein' too many grexers there!
I'll be in Colorado between Xmas and New Years.
We'll probably mosey up to Grand Rapids.
Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Where I'll spend all my time on a street corner begging information about remmers' #@$#@#$ long running mystery quote person, no doubt.
I'll be in Williamstown, Massachusetts this weekend and Belle Mead, New Jersey (about 20 min. north of Princeton) over Christmas.
I'll be in Fort Meyers, FL.
I'll be HOME! (and Amy will be in NY...:(
I will be home for part of break, and in Sarnia, Canada for New Years. (Oh, home is Midland MI )

We'll be sticking around Ann Arbor.
have a friend driving down I75 to Florida for the holidays and wonder where the best prices on cigarettes could be found - which state has the lowest prices/taxes?
The state of being smoke free is the best price. Sorry, but I just had to point out the silliness of smoking, and then worrying about how much it costs. But seriously, if you just gotta do it, your best bet may well be to ask a trucker; besides the cost of the cancer sticks & the taxes, you need to also factor in any extra travel time, and any difference in price between expressway rest areas, truck stops, strip malls, or other stores located further from the expressway. Gasoline has similar price factors; but I find it gets even more interesting for my holidays - half the time I'm driving through canada, which means I definitely don't want to buy gasoline anywhere in the middle - usually I buy gasoline in Sarnia or in Buffalo. In the US, though, I've never found it worth it to drive out of sight of the expressway in a strange place for gasoline. Food, on the other hand, is another matter entirely...
I go to Boston monthly, and would be happy to meet with any NE grexers while i'm there. i'll even buy you a lunch or dinner!
I'll be sticking around the Raleigh/Durham area here in NC for the duration of the holiday season; if anyone's coming on thru, do let me know!
This is now item 28 in the travel conference.
I'll be here in St. Joseph, MI, thru the end of next summer. It's right off of I-94 (to Chicago, etc...). If anyone will be coming thru this way let me know.
Not goin' nowhere. Jus' plain ol' Ann Arbor homebodies, Mary & me. :)
I may not be able to go to Colorado, after all, as I have ear damage that may prevent me from flying.

Hope ya feel better soon, Katie! And that you have a nice holiday, anyway! Me, I'm not doing a darn thing for the holiday other than working!
I'll be in Ann Arbor for the holidays, but I'm trying to arrange a trip to the NYC area for the first week of January.
If I'm lucky, I'll be taking up a little drywalling over the break. 8*)
Sorry to hear about your ear, Katie, though maybe if there were more folks like you, Amtrak would be in the black. :-) I am being sucked up to the A^2 area by waves of guilt projecting from my parents, but I may still end up staying down here with my family.
Sorry to hear about your drywalling, nephi. I'm staying home to!
Actually, it is a good thing. If I can do it, I will also get to meet some of the nicest, most interesting people I know of.
Nephi is referring to travelling all the way to Ann Arbor to help us put up drywall in the basement of the house that is to be the new home of Grex. Ian, the carpenter, will be there and we are assemble a small crew of helpers as we had agreed we would do. This activity will take place on Sunday Jan 8 beginning at noon. Painting will occur the following weekend. I hope to be able to meet you if you can come, Nephi.
I will be in Dallas Texas for New years eve only for a couple of days though!
Even though this item was designed for people to post where they would be over winter breaks, it occured to me that we should start it up again, since I'm sure lots of people will be traveling during summer too, and might be able to run into other grexers... So, where is everyone going this summer?
