While driving late at night, I listened to the Art Bell show on the car radio.
He was interviewing someone named Ed Dames, who claimed to be a retired Air
Force Major-General (or some high ranking military position).  While in the
service, he said he was working on a TRV (Technical Remote Viewing) project.
He now heads a company called PSI-TECH.  This company, he claims, contracts
with the government and industry to do TRV on certain projects.  TRV he claims
allows them to "go to the actual site and time of an event and see exactly
what happened."

Here are some of the things he claimed:
        - He used TRV to find the presence of Saddam Hussein during the Gulf
          war.  
        - He located the biological weapons in Iraq using TRV   
        - They have determined that Flight #800 (NWest?) failed due to a 
         failure of an air-driven turbine in the #3 engine.  This failure
         was a massive fracture of the turbine shaft.
        Ok, that's it for the regular claims, now come the bizarre ones:
        - There is going to be a Bovine Aids epedimic and it will threaten
          humans around the world who consume beef and dairy products
        - There will be a startling increase in stillborns
        - within 3-1/2 years, 80% of the worlds population will die
          due to catastrophe
        - The "structures" on mars are from a civilization which had a 
          catastrophic atmospheric event.  They are still alive and 
          communicating with us:
                - They abduct humans for 2 years and make them work in   
                  mines and oil fields on mars.  They return them after 
                  2 years but manipulate time such that they have only  
                  lost a few hours. (although they have aged 2 yrs)     
                - The crop circles are made by these aliens and represent
                  "registrations" on earth (this point was quite obscure)
                - there are actually 2 civilizations from mars.  The Grays
                  and the Others.  
                - The others have a station on our moon and are currently
                  in orbit around the moon, also.
                - When the atmospheric event on Mars happened, they altered
                their genetic structure and came to earth as Mayans.

There was much discussion about the Ozone layer and it's contribution to the
huge loss of life to happen in a few years, but I don't remember much of that.

I view this as fantasy science fiction, but apparantly there is a large "cult"
following of this type of stuff.  If they determine that the #3 turbine caused
the flight #800 disaster, I am going to start worrying, though.

that program has been cut. No, I am assuming that this is psychic, not

Art Bell's show originates out of St. Paul Minnesota, but it must be broadcast
with about a gazillion watts - I picked it up all the way from Denver,
Colorado, on to Chicago, where I turned it off.  

This guy, Art Bell, also has a web page in which he posts all kinds of stuff
from crop circles, to aliens, to cattle mutulations, to TRV, etc, etc, etc.

Bob, yes, the implication is that the TRV is some sort of psychic phenomenon.
My interpretation of the procedure sounds like a brainstorming session.  They
described a session with a leader and maybe 10-12 other people.  The leader
asked the people to visualize the Flight #800 at the time of the disaster.
He asked them to visualize where the first indication of trouble came from.
Apparantly the procedure gets some sort of consensus at each stage and moves
on to the next.  (Although, this is a LOT of my own interpretation here, from
one all-night show).

What's the frequency?

Sorry, I don't remember.  I just set the "scan" feature on my radio until it
pulled it in.  I believe it was around 800-950 am.

I have read a book which had an extensive section on TRV, next time I post

Now, did he mention any of these insights beforehand, or is he just saying
"hey...*I* knew that" when information surfaces?

He claims to have found Saddam Hussein for the US military; claims to have
located the nerve gas and biological arsonal for the US military (Desert
storm), and he claims to have the answer for TWA flight #800 - says it is a
Air driven turbine shaft failure on #3 engine.  He has lots of other claims
also.

I have no idea how he could prove any other than the TWA one.

TRV eh ? I could use some more info on that ! I've read something along the
lines in a book 'Thin Air' but that was pure fiction.  Its getting so that
I cant seem to differentiate these days.  I know this will seem like a paradox
but Alvin Toffler was right. Future shock is already wont.

Truth is stranger than fiction, or so goes the saying at least. 

I dunno bout u guys but I think this is going a lil far and is some insane
guy broadcasting insane messages.

Tell you what ! If a guy fancies so much make believe - he should spare the
radio and take to making movies.  He'd do a lot better and spare all of us
a lot of trouble. And before I make that conclusive, I hasten to add : If he
is really making that up.

        Well, people tht have been doing Reiki have been doing remote healing
at least since the late 1800's and the native amereican medicine people have
been look forward and backward in time for thousands of years... this story
didn't surprise me at all when I heard it on the radio....being a Reiki
Master, I have been doing remote healings for the last three years...in fact
some of my grex friends in India have benifited from this....anyway....yep,
the natives have been saying the the cleansing is comin...so grab on to your
arse...we're going on a ride!!!!

Please explain this Reiki, hokshila.  I have heard of it, but do not know much
about it, and others may not have heard of it at all.

        Reiki means universal life energy. There is an undercurrent of life
energy that runs through the universe. The scientist would say that this is
the superstring theory, but that theory is limited. The undercurrent has been
known and tapped for may thousands of years by healers and holy people,
shamans and prophets. Reiki is the ability to tap this life energy, direct
it in some way as to facilitate healings on the physical, mental/emotional
and spiritual levels. The individual is opened up to this connection and
achieves a higher energy level. The initiate learns to guild the energy in
healing and later learns to more this energy through time and space to do
healings at a distance. Please take this in the best way, for it is the best
analogy that words can say....trying to explain Reiki to anyone who has not
been attuned is like trying to explain an orgasm to a five year old. I lack
the words to explain what it really is...engish lacks these words, really,
but I'll give it my best. Reiki is a way to enter the "sacred silence", to
move through the viels of the physical world, to move that which holds all
things together into a state of more balance, more toward "the light". One
of the problems that the government had in their "remote influenceing" progeam
was that the people involved in this way began to move in a spiritual
direction and no longer wanted to be involved in the program. They began to
learn that this can only be done for the good of all involved. 
        Recieving a Reiki attunement increases your vibrational rate and brings
it into alignment with the universal life force. The first atttunement only
cracks the door, though, the second and higher attunements open the door more
and other doors as well. I hope this helps some.

Phenomenal! And considering we're part of the whole, this makes sense.  But
then, what is the language of reiki?  And please, no one is to get wrong ideas
of using this for purposes other than peaceful and sensible. Can you give me
some more insight pls? Like how I can attune, for instance ? Or is asking for
too much ? 

The language of Reiki is intuitive~ that isn;t the right word, but the closest
one in English. Attunments are given by those that have learned the art, after
preparation by the student. My wife and I hold classes through out the year,
if you are serious about this. The process of higher vibrational rates takes
some time for many of us, depending on the type of work that we have done
already. I don't know why it took three weeks for your response to show up,
I've been through this cf regular during that time. What else can I share with
you to help you in the understanding of this?
