i am wondering if it is possible to 
for a link  between backtalk and telnet
ie. can a person logged on thru telnet get
to a person logged on thru backtalk

If you mean what I think you mean, then no there isn't. Backtalk
doesn't have real-time chat capability. In fact, there's no easy
way to tell who is currently accessing Grex via Backtalk.
