up in the area, and I'm even gladder that Grex can provide you

Hey guys... maybe you could come to ConVocation and look around!
We should have plenty of interested parties (e-mail me for ad rates,
or write convocat@grex.cyberspace.org)... I know I am. If only I
could get off my duff and *write* something! :)

this does sound interessting. What about poetry? would you like some to
publish?

#5 of 23 by morgayn on Mon Jan 16 22:39:34 1995:

Hmmm...Brenna your name sounds familiar, are you from Sterling Heights? Anyhow,
yes, I would like to know if poetry is being accepted as well....

hm, who is your target market? what level of scholarship or experience
are you looking for? do you want opinion, transcripts of rituals, journeys
and workings, research-based ideas about modern ways of handling ancient
religion, or what? I think more direction could be useful.

We are hoping to give this mag. a life of it's own. Yes, we want poetry.
We want to hear your veiws anyway you wish to set them down on the
subject of religion, magick, philosophy, and life. Yes Kami, this
is vague. We want all ages, and all religions to feel free to submit
anything they feel needs to be said. We do not think that just because
you are not ranking high in your own religion doesn't mean you don't
understand it's basic truths. This mag. is to help those who need it,
and to more fully develope our understand of each other as human beings.
If you don't understand some religious, ect. concept we want to help you
get in touch with those who can explain it to you. We want to connect
this commmunity by making it more aware of it's various parts. If
you send us something we feel is "not quite us" we will let you know why.
If we like it and think it has good points we will hold on to it until it
can be published with a suitable issue. Any more Questions I did not
cover? oh yes! Be pacient with us we are computer shy!

Poetry? Oh goody goody....As for articles on religion...I think I am severely
lacking in the lustre of good information to do something like that...Perhaps
it is good that you have posted here as you may get many interesting responses?

#9 of 23 by robh on Thu Jan 19 23:04:09 1995:

Compter shy, hmm? Would you want an article on some of
the various pagan resources available on the Internet? Or
something similar?

#10 of 23 by rvelrose on Mon Jan 23 15:25:30 1995:

Thank you, robh. That would be very nice. :) Um...also due to a comment
made to one of our editors we feel we must state for the record, this
is not a purely pagan publication. It is for all religions. We hope to
promote understanding among faiths.

#11 of 23 by brighn on Mon Jan 23 20:49:30 1995:

That's a nice goal. I'd like to promote a bit more interfaith understanding
myself. :)

#12 of 23 by robh on Tue Jan 24 00:08:54 1995:

Better still. I can do a wider article on the various
and sundry religious resources available... Can you folks
mail me details of your requirements?

#13 of 23 by phaedrus on Tue Jan 24 03:42:34 1995:

Do it Rob, sounds like something I
I'd like to get!

#14 of 23 by rvelrose on Mon Jan 30 15:21:27 1995:

um..sure we can mail the requirements to you..There aren't many.
Our mailing is a little behind so...it make take a bit.

No problem, I'm not going anywhere. >8)

At the risk of sounding hopelessly out of it, does anyone know what happened
to Red Velvet Roses? Sounded like a wonderful idea, but the login id is no
longer valid, and I haven't been able to find a reference elsewhere in
c-space. Just curious...

#17 of 23 by robh on Sun Nov 5 23:15:19 1995:

We never did hear anything more from them. >8(((

#18 of 23 by starwolf on Tue Nov 7 18:16:42 1995:

 Well, poop.

#19 of 23 by val on Sun Nov 12 03:33:25 1995:

The editor moved to Virginia Beach and guess she just dropped it.

#20 of 23 by bjorn on Sun Nov 12 05:41:02 1995:

I do not see any poop around here!

#21 of 23 by selena on Sun Nov 12 05:54:00 1995:

Well, it would have been courteous to tell us..

#22 of 23 by anne on Sun Dec 3 17:50:02 1995:

I sorta know the girl and I don't think courtesey was her strong suit...
Just a personal opinion mind you.

#23 of 23 by selena on Tue Dec 5 11:18:58 1995:

A more informed opinion than mine..
