I was told the other night that I could get on a synth. mailing list. I 
haven't had any luck finding out how. Can somebody help me.

Huh?  Mailing list?  Tain't no such animal, peacefrg, as
far as I know, and I'm the fair-witness!

Actually I belive I said that you could get on nementon-l...I just
couldn't remember the address to sing up on...

What happens when you try it, entropy?

whenever I send anything to the address, I get one of those nice "No such
address" mail pieces. I've tried it more then once, on different systems, and I
alwa s get the same response.  Could you repost the address?  (I've checked it
a few times)  I know it's there and I can get to it, I just want to make sure
it's right. <shrug> Thanx in advance.

Yeah, the address kami gave was slightly wrong.  Try:

        majordomo@pentagon.io.com

The command should still be "subscribe nemeton-l"

Hi folks.  I'm told that Nemeton-l had one of its periodic hiccoughs,
and dumped nearly everyone out.  If you *were* getting it, and find that
it has suddenly gotten very quiet,  nope!  You're out of the loop.  Go
ahead and resubscribe.  (see response #12)

And rumour has it that there *might* be a digest option for the list in
a week or so.  Whee!
