I just called the Ted Heusel Show (not sure if I spelled the name right). For those who don't know, Ted is alleged to be the first radio talk show host. I've heard he was a DJ who was so interested in taking calls that he just stopped playing records. The show is on WAAM 1600 AM in Ann Arbor 9:00-noon weekdays. I described grex's space requirements as I understand them. I briefly explained what grex is and I'm pretty sure I mentioned telnet cyberspace.org, cyberspace.org on the world wide web, and 761-3000. When Ted asked for my phone number, I told him people could mail to staff@cyberspace.org and I also gave my phone number if people wanted to contact me. I hope this might have been useful. So now that we've been in the Ann Arbor News and WAAM, are there other local media outlets to pursue?

:) ??????
I like GREX and feel helpless out here in Seattle.
Well, you can be pretty sure we won't disappear. It's going to cost work and money, but we'll make it.
How about the KOOL 107 Morning Show with Bill Rice & Lucy Ann Lance (6-10 am Mondays through Fridays)?
And, the AA Observer???
By the time the Observer gets an article on us printed, we'll either have moved or died. Monthly publications aren't so good for these situations.
Could try the on-line press...postings in AOl or the Well or other boardsthat might have places for suchlistings
but AOL is going to charge <of course>
I thought of posting an item first and formulating what to say on the radio, but I decided against it. I just decided to take action. The ideas posted here are good. Anyone who listens to KOOL 107, go ahead and talk to them. If we can find a writer for the Observer, it couldn't hurt to tell them the story. Danr has posted to the Internet-Council mailing list. If anyone else knows of newsgroups, AOL forums, or other such places to beg, go ahead and do it!
Have anyone find a place for grex at all?
We have a number of pretty good candidates now. At the moment, I'd say things look medium rosy.
