Has anyone heard of Clipper? Its the bill that was introduced in US
legislature to make it legal for the US Governent to obtain and read
your E-mail. There is a petition against this bill. To get your name on
petition send E-mail to Clipper.petition@cpsr.org with the message...." I
oppose Clipper" (without quotes). For full information on this issue there
is a file named "clipper.txt" on my directory, if you know about unix go ahead
and make a copy of it for yourself. If you want this file and dont know any
unix, let me know and I will send it to you.
Thanks and please help this cause,

Item 72 in Agora has a lot of Clipper Comments and documents in it. I think the discussion of this should be here, though, because Agora will move on when the equinox arrives. I have already put my name on this petition.
hi could you send me information on this bill.... i'm new to the system ....i'm new to computers...... and i can't use unix yet....
Megan, there's a ton of stuff in Agora item 72. You can read it by saying "join agora" and then "read 72" at successive OK prompts. Is that what you meant? If not, ask again please and be as specific as you can, to improve our chances of helping you. For most things here on grex, you really don't need to be a computer expert or know anything about unix for that matter. For those things that require any expertise, help is available by just asking.
thanks steve
Big Brother is watching us.
as always! (is this news to you?)
Not everyone was borne paranoid, other.
Ahh, but the current conditions have borne the seeds of which paranoia is the fruit!
Rotten fruit.
