Billionaire Ted's Wrasslin' Warroom For those of you out there, if any, who have watched the WWF lately have probably noticed Billionaire Ted's Wrasslin' Warroom. For those of you who have no idea what it is, it is a skit everyweek starring Billionaire Ted (impersonation of Ted Turner, really good one too) and others from the WCW who basically try to steal things from the WWF (moves, ideas, etc...). But now, Eric "I don't know how to run a wrasslin' organization" Bischoff has threatened legal action against the WWF for these skits, but they aren't scared one bit! Other people from the warroom are the Huckster (imitation of Hulk Hogan being really really old) and the Nacho Man (Macho Man as a really old guy). If you've never seen it, I believe that they'll have another one this Monday night on WWF Monday Night RAW. Watch it, it's great! Your thoughts on Billionaire Ted's Wrasslin' Warroom?

I didn't know that there was a wrestling forum on this system. I think that Bret Hart joining the nWo is the biggest sham that this city boy has ever seen. And believe me, I've seen a lot of them. I'm not exactly sure what made him leave the WWF but I hope he isn't pissed off enough to join that sorry bunch of losers known as the nWo. That would be the biggest mistake of his LIFE let alone his career. Email me if you have any further thoughts. My login name is twister.
Truth be told, I think the WWF, and thier ilk are the biggest shams I've seen in a long time.
Ive followed wrestling, I admit, since I was a kid. Wreaslting, (rasslin actually) is really just a form of performance art. A soap opera that is sometimes better than most real soap operas. And Case in point, Twister mentioned Brett Hart. Until last Sunday, the WWF World champion and one of the top talents in the business. He defected to the rival WCW, (Ted Turner's wrestling company) for $3 million a year. Problem is, Hart had one match left, his long awaited grudge rematch against Shawn MichaelsEuropean champion Shawn Michaels. These two hate each other and neither will agree to lose to the other. So they agree to have a double DQ where the ref gets knocked out. Enter Vince McMahon, the owner of the WWF, who is insisting that Hart lose the title, so he cant go on Turner's WCW TV program ho9lding the WWF world belt. Hart refuses. So McMahon decides he has to double cross Hart, his champion of the last few years. The match is supposed to end with a double dq when the ref gets "knocked out". But lo and behold, McMahon comes out to ringside right when the ref bump is to occur, and once the ref is knocked down, orders him to get back up and call for the bell. That isnt in the script! Hart is furious. Shawn Michaels music plays and he is announced as the "new champion. Michaels runs down the aisle with the belt like a thief. Hart spits in McMahon's face and goes beserk, tearing up tv equipment, as the tv broadcast ends abruptly fifteen minutes early (the script called for a thirty two minutes match but it ended at McMahon's order after seventeen) Cut to the locker room, where Hart confronts referee Earl Hebner, in reality one of his best friends in the world, who has actually and in truth just betrayed him by helping McMahon screw him out of the world title. Tears and recriminations and accusations go back and forth. Hebner flees the arena, fearing for his own safety. Hart confronts Michaels who swears he didnt now the fixx was in. Finally Hart confronts McMahon, his boss and the promoter, and has to berestrained from beating the holy hell out of him. But Hart is strong and breaks out of the restrainers arms and *does* beat holy hell out of McMahon, KO'ing him and fracturing his jaw with a series of punches. Vince McMahon is carried out on a stretcher and taken to the hospital. Cut to the next night on live TV, on the WCW show, wrestling's "other" world champion-- the immortal Hollywood Hulk Hogan of course-- walks down the ailse to "Oh Canada", carrying a canadian flag, and anouncing that Hart, canada's greatest wrestler, is joining that circuit. ON the WWF's show last night, a badly beaten and bruised Vince McMahon is interviewed saying he hasnt decided whether to press charges and that Hart should have been man enough to lose the title if he was leaving the company, rather than have forced him to try and take it from him. Just another week in As Wrestling Turns...and this week, as is sometimes the case, the action was real, not rehearsed. And whether it is real or rehearsed, it is still part of the show in the end. That's what rasslin is all about.
Another Philistine.
