Grex Sexuality Item 7: what is kinky?
Entered by phenix on Thu Sep 6 20:51:34 UTC 2001:

kink
aside from being a really annoying thing i get in my backs, most people have
VERY pre-determined notions of what kinky is.
so what is it for you?
is it bad?
does kinky have a positive or negative connatation?

I'm not sure what I'd consider kinky.

Sure, I'm an infantilist, so others might think my wearing diapers by
choice is kinky.

Wow, haven't seen you for a while.

I'm assuming "kinky" means a deviation from what is considered and
accepted normal, standard, or average-- and I'm also thinking that such
parameters have probably changed in recent years.

For example, when was the phrase "vanilla sex" coined?

'kinky' can be such a cute word, if used and not abused.

#4 of 24 by phenix on Thu Dec 13 18:49:08 2001:

kink is spiffy

From an unremembered source -
"Erotic is when you use a feather. Kinky is when you use the
whole chicken."

Kinky is anything that you don't do that you wouldn't necessarily mind
doing but have no strong desire to do; sick is anything that you don't do
that you really have a strong desire not to do.

I had a conversation with a lesbian couple, friends of mine, about a
week ago, and I have to say it was incredibly amazing the way they thought
anything involving male bodily fluids - I should mention here that they're
both bisexual - was nothing short of disgusting, but had no such views about
female bodily fluids or female ejaculate, though they're almost identical.

Which is fair enough, because I found the fact that one of them didn't
shave a complete turn-off, though the hair's pretty much the same regardless
of the gender.

I disagree with your definition of kinky; lots of people do kinky things, and
call them kinky things.

#8 of 24 by jazz on Wed Jan 9 19:45:33 2002:

Well, it was just a smart-ass definition anyways. ;) "Kinky" means
slightly different things depending on whether you're smiling or not when you
say it, and all of that subcultural and background baggage, so it'd be hard
to come up with one definition that'd make everyone happy.

i never did undersstand the problem with not shaving.
if i wanted bald i'd start running around the jr. highs

#9> That'd get you arrested.
#8> I knew it was a smart-assy answer. ;}

#11 of 24 by phenix on Wed Jan 9 20:24:13 2002:

well of course it'd get me arrested. contrary to poplar opinion i am neither
daft nor amoral

#12 of 24 by brighn on Wed Jan 9 21:00:43 2002:

Well, not amoral.
*ducks*

i prefer hair on girls, but if i had a lover who shaved herself that would
turn me on, too, because the thought of her spending that much time on herself
making sexual modifications makes me drooly. if a girl wanted me to shave
myself, i'd do it for this reason, to show that i was willing to put myself
through that just for her arousal. the gesture would in turn arouse me.

#15 of 24 by phenix on Thu Jan 10 02:34:39 2002:

now, shaving her can be quite fun

#16 of 24 by michaela on Thu Jan 10 09:23:08 2002:

I think jazz may have meant shaving her armpits and legs...

#17 of 24 by phenix on Thu Jan 10 13:20:44 2002:

ok, now i'm even more mystified.
really, that's never bugged me
hmm

#18 of 24 by cyklone on Thu Jan 10 14:23:27 2002:

I thought he meant facial hair.

YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY< K?

#20 of 24 by jazz on Fri Jan 11 19:01:22 2002:

Sarah's right, and it's largely an issue of personal taste, insofar
as I see it. I'm sure that there are other things - for example, back hair
on men - that are perfectly natural but wind up being turn-offs for other
people out there.

#23 of 24 by jagat02 on Fri Dec 31 06:06:58 2004:

kinky is crouching on your ass and dipping your trunk in cold water in a
tub.then massaging thepen and drinking the white fluid.
