You are reading a highly recomended book, and it seems like you almost never
have time for it. While reading the phone rings. You have just gotten to the
climax and have only the last few pages to go.....
What do you do?

Dont answer it of course. Is ansewering the phone a major
scruple? It's not really a everyday life crushing decision I make
(Of course it's always tied up because of Grex anyway)

I would do what I usually do when the phone rings and I don' t feel like
answering it.  I would listen to the speaker on the answering machine and
decide if it was somebody I wanted to talk to.

I admit it. I'd do what Steve would.

There is nothing impolite about not answering a telephone,
with or without an answering machine.

I'd answer the phone, and if it weren't something/one important,
I'd bitch to them about it.
Especially another window salesman -- I live in an apartment!
<ah.... the catharsis of it all....>

I'd do what Steve and Carson would do too.
It's not like I usually answer the phone anyway, even if I'm not doing 
anything.  *grin*  Unless my folks said they'd call or something.

I answer it.  And even though I probably shouldn't be taking the
time then to read the book in the first place, I probably go back 
to finish it immediately.

okay.....What would it take to tear you away from the high point in your 
book?

Well.... if the book is that good, let them call again. Better yet
buyy a Phone answering machine.Keep on reading.. };)

I've had this happen.  i take the book to the phone (reading on the way)
and finish it off while i'm talking ;)
